The 2007 Sony Ericsson Open has once again been an exciting affair that has left tennis fans all over the globe excited about the three remaining Grand Slam events left on the schedule.

Before we jump too far ahead into the tennis season, the women’s final featuring Serena Williams versus Justin Henin must be played and every BetUS.com tennis bettor needs to get the scoop on which player to pick in this showdown between two of the world’s best players.

While I have always been a huge fan of both Williams sisters, I also thoroughly enjoy watching Henin display her efficient brand of tennis as well and by no means think Williams will win this match easily.

In eight career meetings between the two, Williams has won five times. However, the pair have not played each other since the 2003 Wimbledon semifinals which Williams convincingly won 6-3, 6-2.

Both players have lost only one match this season and are playing at a very high level right now.

Though Williams is playing some of the best tennis we have seen from her in quite some time, I think Henin’s mental strength will allow her to compete with Williams for the majority of this match and possibly win if Williams reverts back to her ‘Mrs. Unforced Error-like’ ways.

When push comes to shove – or more importantly – when money is on the line – I have to encourage bettors to go with Williams who has been on some sort of mission to prove her greatness ever since the season began.

While I don’t think it will be as easy as some of her previous matches, I like Williams to win what she considers her ‘home’ tournament.
