He arrives in Barcelona with only a 1-2 mark for the season, having only competed in two ATP level draws. At one time Coria was an exceptional clay courter, as such the bookies only slightly disadvantaged the Argentinean on the money line at -190 favorite odds. But as there is little to suggest a renaissance in Coria’s game will occur, this matchup should go the way of the Russian.

Aside from appearing at the US Men’s Clay Court Championships – his maiden ATP level title – only a fortnight ago, defeating James Blake in the final. Pujol enters the draw in Barcelona with an 8-3 mark for the season.
