Unquestionably, Youzhny has been playing incredible tennis and his favoritism is well earned. He is most likely the sure bet on this line.

On the other hand, World No. 15 David Ferrer is not without his own merits and he will definitely do his best to overcome the challenge that Youzhny will pose. Taking into consideration Ferrers' rank, he may very well cash in on his underdog status and come away with the victory.

This match is without a doubt a tough pick for the sports betting enthusiast. Youzhny and Ferrer are tied 1-1 in their head-to-heads, the most recent victory going the way of Youzhny 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 6-4  in the round of 32 at the 2006 US Open. Prediction: The favorite, Novak Djokovic ranks 14th in the ATP and is seeded fifth at the ABN AMRO. While Tommy Robredo,  ranked 7th in the ATP and seeded second at this tournament, finds himself as the underdog.

This matchup will be a great contest for the bottom-half semifinal spot. Djokovic and Robredo are tied 1-1 in their head-to-heads, with the most recent win secured by Djokovic in straight sets 7-6(5), 6-2, 6-4 at the 2006 Wimbledon.

Both players provide excellent value and a wager on either player would not be outrageous. The question for the tennis bettor, though, is which bet will be the winning one. While I like Djokovic, I am inclined to go with Robredo on this one and cash in on his underdog status.
