Bet Wishes (The Ones I Wish I Could Have Made):

1) I so badly wanted to drop a dime on Cowboy Tony Romo having his first pass intercepted to start the second half of last night’s game against the Giants. I called it! I swear. As soon as I saw that Parcells had made the idiotic move to bench Drew Bledsoe in a game that will come to signal the end of the Cowboys’ season and, hopefully, the end of Parcells’ reign as coach.

2) I wish I could have bet that Michael Vick would throw 4 TDs this week. 17 times in his career, he has thrown for two passing scores, but he had never thrown for three in one game.

3) I wish I would have bet that anyone would even have attempted a 62-yards field goal, much less make the kick to win the game over the Eagles as time ran out in a game that saw the Eagles have to come back from 17 points down in the second half. 3a) I wish I could have parlayed that last bet with the winning team, the Buccaneers, becoming the second team in as many weeks to win a game scoring more than 20 points, without an offensive touchdown.

4) I wish I could have bet that Bill Parcells might take some of the blame for the horrible game the Cowboys played. Deep in the Giants zone, the Cowboys twice called a square-out, where the QB passes to the wide receiver just past the line of scrimmage at the sideline. The ball was intercepted both times, once by each quarterback, and the second one was returned for a Giants touchdown to seal the game. Same thing on the same play happened three weeks ago in Philly to end the game there. Think Parcells would shoulder some of that blame. Not a chance. Too proud and too dumb. I would have lost the bet, but I would have made it just in case; the odds would have been astronomical.

5) I wish I could have bet that, during his stupidly long interview last night about something I can’t remember because I was trying to watch the football game going on in a small screen beside his face, Emmitt Smith would have shown some interest in the wicked moves Giants RB Brandon Jacobs was showing. He showed none (maybe he wasn’t even watching), but I would have bet that he would.

6) I wish I could bet right now that Dennis Green gets fired the next time the Cardinals kick a freaking field goal while down by 16 damn points in the fourth quarter. Who is paying this fool? Fire him. Don’t worry, Al Davis is going to need another offensive coordinator soon, he’ll get work again.

Those are a few things I would have liked to bet on. We can’t bet on these sorts of events, but there are tons of props, futures and exotic bets you can make in the BetUS.com Sportsbook. From college to UFC, we have it all! Sign up for free and check us out today!
