UFC Fight Night on Wednesday, Dec. 10 provides online UFC betting fans an opportunity to say thanks to the men and women stationed around the globe by making monetary donations during the three hour long Fight Night that's going to be aired free on Spike TV to benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

It's a great cause and all donations will go towards the construction of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence, an advanced facility dedicated to research. While taking in the MMA betting action let's keep in mind, the real heroes aren't in the Octagon, they're in uniform engaging in war around the world to assure Americans continued freedom and liberty. So do your part during UFC Fight Night and contribute a few sports wagering coins towards a great cause.

Fight for the Troops' main event pits Koscheck, who lost the welterweight No. 1 contender fight to Thiago Alves just a over a month ago at UFC 90, will try to rebound against Yoshida.

Kos has an overall MMA record of 13-3-0, and a 9-3 UFC mark since entering the Octagon in 2005 after his premier on The Ultimate Fighter. In 2008, he's entered the Octagon for three fights, winning two of the three. The wins came against Dustin Hazelett (TKO) and Chris Lytle (decision) with the sole loss coming via decision in a war versus Alves.

Kos is very athletic and a world class wrestler, who'll face Yoshida that will try to bark as the dog being a fourth degree black belt in judo featuring great throws, ground control, and submission skills. Yoshida owns an overall 10-2-0 MMA mark but has only fought once in the Octagon, scoring an UFC debut victory over Jon Koppenhaver via submission (choke) at UFC 84 in May to be 1-0 in the world's top cage fighting series.

BetUS UFC odds list Koscheck the favorite priced at -240 with Yoshida the underdog towing solid sports betting value at +190 in what should prove to be a competitive and hard fought battle. This free UFC wagering event begins at 9:00pm EST.

Analysis: This will be the third trip to the Octagon in a six month period for Kos, which may seem insignificant but at this level a fight every other month can take its toll. If Kos is forced to go past two rounds fatigue could become a factor. Both fighters feel comfortable on the ground, where this fight will most likely land from start to finish.

One mistake by Kos and the savvy submission artist Yoshida will sink a fight ending hold. Yoshida's judo and countless submission techniques makes him the more dangerous fighter and a very lively underdog.

Free UFC Picks: Yoshiyuki "Zenko" Yoshida +190

The under card includes Jonathan Goulet (+300) vs. Mike Swick (-400); Tim Credeur (-155) vs. Nate Loughran (+125); Steve Cantwell (-350) vs. Razak Al-Hassan (+250) and Matt Wiman (-105) vs. Jim Miller (-125). There are five additional preliminary fights that may not be broadcast, but MMA odds has your money-making numbers for each.
