Fresh off the heels of Wednesday's UFC Fight Night—Fight for the Troops, which was arguably one of the best events ever seen free on Spike TV, there's more to come on Saturday, Dec. 13 when online MMA betting fanatics are treated to The Ultimate Fighter Finale—Team Noguiera vs. Team Mir.

The Finale features lightweight and light heavyweight Ultimate Fighter Team Noguiera vs. Team Mir season winners. In the lightweight final, Team Nog’s Efrain Escudero will go at it with Phillipe Nover, who also rep's Team Nogueira. The light heavyweight final is between Vinny Magalhaes of Team Mir against Team Nog’s Ryan Bader.

The winners of these two fights will be awarded six figure UFC contracts, so there's no doubt about the level of competiveness that will be toted to the Octagon, making for stellar UFC betting action while they attempt to join the ranks of pasts TUF winners Forrest Griffin, Diego Sanchez, Joe Stevenson, Rashad Evans, Kendall Grove, Michael Bisping, Nate Diaz, Mac Danzig and Amir Sadollah.

Phillipe Nover (-400) vs. Efrain Escudero (+250)

At the start of Season 8 of TUF, Phillipe Nover was the first to fall, as Nover fainted seconds into the opening episode's 32 fighter introduction being delivered by Dana White. Nover blamed his collapse on the Vegas heat. It was the 24-year-old nurse from New York only sign of weakness, as he cruised into Saturday's final with relative ease. Nover is widely seen as the latest TUF star and already being compared to middleweight champion Anderson Silva. The first ever Big Apple resident to appear on TUF defeated George Roop via kimura submission in Round 1 in his semifinal match to get here. Nover owns a pro MMA mark of 6-0-1.

Escudero has a perfect 11-0 professional record. The 22-year-old submitted Junie Browning in the second round of the semifinals. As a submission specialist and strong wrestling, Escudero will most likely try to take the fight to the mat. Meanwhile, Nover will rely on heavy hands, submissions, and good clinches to counter Escudero's wrestling techniques.

Free UFC Picks: Phillipe Nover (-400)

Vinny Magalhaes (-200) vs. Ryan Bader (+150)

Magalhaes is only the second Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native to compete in the eight seasons of TUF. The 24-year-old is a ten year jiu-jitsu artist who brings a 3-2, 1 No Contest record to the final against Bader. In his semifinal bout, Magalhaes defeated Krzysztof Soszynski by submission via armbar in Round 1. In addition to his world-class jiu-jitsu skills, Magalhaes possesses mentally toughness and powerful kicks.

Bader is a Division I All American wrestler with heavy hands that's fought him to a perfect 8-0 record. The athletic 24-year-old earned his shot at a UFC contract in the final via a semifinal victory over Eliot Marshall by way of unanimous decision.

Free UFC Picks: Ryan Bader (+150)

Before UFC contract stakes are laid on the MMA betting table, the free televised event will open with the season’s most controversial contestant, Junie Browning (-400), entering the Octagon against fellow castmate and nemesis Dave Kaplan (+250). Browning lost to Escudero in the show’s much anticipated semifinal bout.

But his defeat sat well with the TUF audience, following his drunken glass throwing, in-house fights and brash Octagon entrance to get at Escudero. Simply put, he was the Season 8 episode's asshole and fans in attendance at The Palms will be behind Kaplan, who got this fight against Browning by getting taken to the ground and choked out in slightly more than a minute by Nover in his semifinal fight.

In addition to several TUF 8 cast members getting it on, UFC veteran Wilson Gouveia will take on Jason McDonald in a light heavyweight bout. Also, we'll see a re-match between Kevin Burns and Anthony Johnson whose first fight ended with a controversial stoppage. Be sure to checkout the BetUS online betting undercard.
