UFC 219 Main Card Breakdown

T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will be the host of a tremendous Mixed Martial Arts event. UFC 219 will take place on December 30th and the feature fight is Cris Cyborg against Holly Holm. Let's take a look at the main slate for UFC 219.

Cris Cyborg vs. Holly Holm - Women's Featherweight

Cris Cyborg faces her toughest opponent yet at UFC 219 where she will face the decorated women's boxing champ, Holly Holm. Cyborg is 18-1 in her career and has crushed just about everyone put in front of her. Her lone loss came in her first fight back in 2005. She holds a sorts of awards for her ability in the cage and is ready to take down Holly Holm.

Holm has not been the same since beating the breaks off the then-untouchable Ronda Rousey. Will The Preacher's Daughter regain UFC gold this Saturday night or will she be another notch on the most feared woman in MMA's belt?

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Edson Barboza - Lightweight

There's no doubt this is a #1 contender bout for Tony Ferguson's Interim Lightweight title (where you at, Conor?). Khabib was originally slated to fight Ferguson earlier this year before last-minute weight-cutting issues forced him out of the bout. The Russian is 24-0 and has looked phenomenal in his career.

Edson Barboza will look to keep Khabib's wrestling at bay with his illustrious kicking arsenal. The Brazilian is 19-4 and has won his last three bouts.

This will be an exciting bout between two styles that look to cancel each other out. Who will win in this classic match-up between wrestler and striker?

Cynthia Calvillo vs. Carla Esparza - Women's Strawweight

Calvillo (6-0) will look to build her start on Pay Per View where she will take on the UFC's first Women's Strawweight Champion.

While Esparza is yet to make the climb back to title contendership, she's always a game fighter that likes to take it to her opponent. This should be a good bout between a scrappy veteran and an up-and-comer who's looking to make a name for herself.

Carlos Condit vs. Neil Magny - Welterweight

This welterweight scrap could be the most interesting of them all. The Natural Born Killer is back for the first time since wearing Demian Maia as a backpack in August of 2016. Condit, who has 40 pro fights to his name, has lost three of his last five of his last seven fights since winning the Interim Welterweight title in 2012.

Neil Magny looks to bounce back from his submission loss to Rafael dos Anjos in September.

There is a look at the UFC 219 coming to Las Vegas on December 30th. Best of luck with your betting on the Mixed Martial Arts event. Enjoy the fights!
