Bio

Barry Werner spent two decades in the ultra-competitive world of New York sports tabloids. He was the driving force behind a pacing horse, Niatross, becoming the paper's Athlete of the Year in 1980. He loves hockey, harness racing and Thoroughbred racing. He also misses Tom Petty and lives by the mantras: Most things I worry about Never happen anyway, and don't be afraid to live what you believe.
