Scott's Bio

Scott Kacsmar is a writer and data analyst from Pittsburgh, PA. The Pirates turned him off to baseball, and Kordell Stewart nearly ruined quarterbacks for him. But he got into breaking down NFL stats in 2003 because he thought he could do a more informative job than what ESPN's Sean Salisbury was doing on TV. He has been an advocate for drive stats and has standardized all game-winning drives and fourth quarter comebacks for Pro Football Reference. He has been a sports bettor since 2017 despite the fact that 28-3 in Super Bowl 51 was his first bad beat.
