Well, well, well, we’ve got some boxing news… he’s back at it again. And after finally taking a huge L in the boxing ring against Tommy Fury – which most adults over the age of 18 prayed for – we’re going to see Jake Paul back in the squared circle. His opponent? Yep, you guessed it, another semi-retired MMA fighter that’s never competed in boxing.
Sh-t-talking, backstage brawls, and UFC rumors regarding Nate Diaz’s exit from professional MMA had long been in motion before this bout was announced on Wednesday.
And the good news. Unlike Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren, and Anderson Silva, Mr. Diaz won’t hold back and allow Jake to run his gums, so we can expect an overly dramatized, hyped build-up for this fight. More importantly, no respect between the two combatants, just straight beef.
August 5th we commemorate the funeral for Nathaniel Diaz as we send him in casket back to Dana.
Refreshments will be provided at the service. Black Tie Attire.

Dallas is the location, August 5th is the date, and although we should expect a huge level of interest in this fight, not everyone is happy about these so-called “clown shows”. Including one of the UFC’s elite-level sh-t-talkers, Sean Strickland.
Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz such a fucking joke.
I’m not hating on either for making money of this clown show I’m hating on the fact a RETIRED 155er is fighting a juiced tiktoker at 185 who lost to a recreational boxer Tommy Furry.
STOP WATCHING THIS BS!! IT NEEDS TO DIE…

To be quite honest, it’s hard to disagree with Strickland entirely. Nobody has placed Nate Diaz in their UFC best bets for years; he hasn’t won consecutive fights since 2016 and has never competed in boxing. Meanwhile, Jake Paul loves to prey on ex-UFC competitors at the back end of their career, needing testosterone shots and a handful of fights away from a walking stick.
Jake Paul is to newly released UFC fighters what Pete Davidson is to newly single celebrity women.

After months of screaming from the rooftops about how he’s a legitimate professional boxer, the kid has shamelessly returned to boxing old UFC legends that have failed to collect a significant wins in MMA for years, let alone the boxing ring – an area in combat sports that almost every one of Jake’s past opponents wasn’t familiar with.
He’s 4-0 versus old and retired MMA fighters with early onset CTE, and after his only fight against a “pro boxer” his own age and weight class didn’t end positively, he’s straight back to bullying fighters that have been punched in the head so much they’ve lost all senses. But either way, we’re going to tune in to this freak show because we’re always hanging on and hoping somebody will knock the crap out of this dork.
Can Diaz be the first MMA fighter to redeem this cage-fighting community? Probably not. As a lifetime fan of the sport, I’m sick and f’ing tired of underestimating Jake Paul when he’s up against mixed martial artists. Put this clown in the octagon, and he’d be 0-4 against these oldies, but the squared circle is a different kettle of fish, so if you’re betting online, I’d suggest you stay well away from this.
Furthermore, he hand-picks these opponents to give himself a clear age, height, and weight advantage. But I guess when you’re a multi-millionaire steroid-popping YouTube phenomenon, you can manipulate Generation Z into believing you’re a legitimate fighter with just a few years of training.

Anyway, I’ve got some real fights to study as the UFC is heading to Kansas City, Missouri, this weekend. I’m not ecstatic about the potential of Jake Paul beating another MMA legend, but shit, I can’t knock him for the interest and money he generates from it. He might be an annoying jerk, but he’s getting that bag, you know.
I’m out… See ya!
