Not every contract for the biggest remaining fights of 2024 has been signed, but today, we’ll take a look at those that have, some of which already have boxing odds available! Without further ado, I present to you the four biggest fights to get hyped up about for Q3 and Q4 of this year!

4 Biggest Boxing Fights to Bet in 2024

1. Terrence Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov

When: August 3, 2024

The BMO Stadium in the City of Angels plays host to one of the biggest fight cards of the summer this August. But most eyes will certainly be on the main event involving Terence Crawford, as the No.2 pound-for-pound elitist returns to action in an attempt to become a titleholder in a fourth division!

“Bud” has already etched his name into the history books. Since the lopsided beatdown of Errol Spence Jr. last time out, many called for the 40-0 undefeated king of welterweight to throwdown with Canelo Alvarez.

Unfortunately, this dream bout hasn’t surfaced YET. Still, while we wait for Turki Alalshikh to cook (We know he is), Crawford looks to write more history when challenging Israil Madrimov for the interim WBO super welterweight and WBA straps.

With limited options for Crawford, it’s no surprise he’s moving up to hunt more gold, but he won’t overlook the challenge ahead. Marimov remains unbeaten (10-0, 7 KOs), and “Bud” must be at his surgical best when faced with the intense and powerful Uzbek pugilist.

Shoutout to the undercard as well! Issac “Pitbull” Cruz defends the WBA junior welterweight belt against Jose Valenzuela; Andy Ruiz throws down with Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller, and David Morrell faces Radivoje Kaladzic with the vacant WBA light heavyweight (secondary) strap on the line.

2. Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois

When: September 21, 2024

This September, a boxing civil war erupts when Anthony Joshua trades leather with Daniel Dubois for the IBF world heavyweight title. We knew Usyk wouldn’t hold onto undisputed status for long (the politics of boxing, sigh), but at least we’re receiving an absolute banger of a fight because of it.

As Dubois was the mandatory challenger for one of Usyk’s titles (IBF), he’s automatically been reestablished from interim to IBF champion due to Usyk’s mandatory rematch with Fury. The good news is that two-time former world champ Joshua (28-3) faces Dubois (21-2) for said championship, and the winner could face Usyk or Fury in the future for another undisputed showdown.

Interestingly, both Dubois and AJ have lost to Usyk. However, they’ve equally rebuilt their status since those respective losses, and in the words of Frank Warren, “All roads will lead to unification again.”

3. Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol

When: October 21, 2024

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, the two greatest 175-pound talents on the planet, were set to clash, but the bout fell through due to an injury on June 1. Bivol steamrolled a late-notice replacement in Malik Zanid, and now the highly anticipated undisputed light heavyweight that was previously scheduled has a new date to keep our excitement levels peaking in anticipation of what’s to come.

There isn’t much supporting hype required for this bout. Boxing enthusiasts, and even casual boxing betting fans, understand the magnitude of unifying the 175lb titles, and when you have the pound-for-pound #4 and #6 going at it, we know we’re in for something special.

Beterbiev is a legend and future Hall of Famer, but at 39 and with the recent injuries, he’ll be regarded as the underdog. Bivol, six years the senior of his foe, owns a 23-0 record with 12 knockouts to date. That said, Beterbiev’s 20-0 unblemished record and 100% knockout rate make this all-Russian war a fight that no boxing fan will want to miss!

4. Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury II

When: December 21, 2024

Without question, the biggest fight of 2024 so far has been Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury’s May 18 undisputed heavyweight title clash. The former became the first undisputed heavyweight champ since Lennox Lewis in 1999 in a 12-round contest that became an instant classic.

With a mandatory rematch in place, Turki Alalshikh recently revealed the date on social media, and in December 2024, we can expect the “Gypsy King” and “The Cat” to throw down again for what’s anticipated to be an even bigger event than the first!

The rematch between the Undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is now scheduled on the 21 of December 2024 during Riyadh Season,” Turki posted on X. “The world will watch another historical fight again. Our commitment to boxing fans continues; we hope you enjoy it.”

The buzz generated in the first fight between Usyk and Fury was palpable from the moment it was announced, and it’s almost guaranteed that December’s rematch will be one of the most talked about fights of 2024 and, potentially, the last two decades.

Although we’re five months away from the highly anticipated heavyweight clash, boxing betting lines already have confidence in Usyk to replicate May’s contest by placing him as the betting favorite at -200.
