Kambosos Jr. vs Wyllie: Bounce Back Spot Activated
On paper, one might be led to believe that George Kambosos Jr. vs Jake Wyllie will provide a close-fought competition scrap. Well, that’s only true if you aren’t familiar with their game. Sure, Kambosos is seven years the senior of Wyllie, he’s lost 3 of his previous 4 fights, and his last outing ended in a brutal knockout defeat to Vasily Lomachenko, but there’s more to this story than meets the eye.
At the opposite end, we have Wyllie: a fresh, young, and powerful newcomer to the main stage who’s finished 15 of his 16 wins by knockout and has just one defeat thus far. However, we shouldn’t beat around the bush (even if it’s in Australia), and the fact is that Wyllie is stepping up on short notice; he’s literally had days to prepare, and he’s never fought an opponent even close to the level of Kambosos.
Bet This Pick: Kambosos Jr. by Decision (+210)

Why Kambosos to Win on Points Makes Sense
The term ‘puncher’s chance’ will be Wyllie’s only chance of winning this fight. Kambosos’s only career losses are against boxing greats Devin Haney and Lomachenko, and Wyllie, well, he’s fought nobody of recognition and has even been stopped by a boxer whose current record is 3-5.
That said, my fellow boxing purists will be well aware of the situation we’re dealing with based on the boxing betting odds alone. With the moneyline juice halting our bankroll potential, take one of Australia’s finest (Kambosos, not Wyllie) to win by decision, as we should expect him to play a tactical and cautious game opposite an opponent whose only chance to win is by utilizing his impressive punching power.

Sebastian Fundora vs Chordale Booker: Size Matters!
The current WBC/WBO super welterweight champion also happens to be the tallest 154-pounder in the division’s history. He’s 6’5” with an 80” reach, and if that isn’t a cheat code for boxing, I don’t know what is.
Look, I know, the same old boxing rumors surrounding Fundora’s size are getting old, but in combat sports, size really does matter more so when you’ve got such a well-versed and crafty skill set to match as the 27-year-old from West Palm Beach, Florida, seems to level up from each fight.
Now, we have a 33-year-old Chordale Booker, who is no slouch by any means. That said, he’s not fought this level of competition before, and his opportunity at gold this weekend wasn’t expected but more so presented on a luck basis.
Bet This Pick: Fundora vs Booker Over 6.5 Rounds (-300)
No matter how many times I have seen Sebastian Fundora,
It’s always hard to wrap my brain around the fact that he is,

A Late Stoppage, If Anything
Fundora’s moneyline is long gone into the realm of unplayable juice. However, as a parlay piece boxing prediction, attacking one of BetUS’s alternative totals has caught my eye because I don’t envision an early stoppage from either fighter.
While Booker’s power is present, he isn’t necessarily a one-punch knockout artist, and it’ll probably take him half of the fight to even understand the awkward range of the champ. Then we have Fundora, who’s risking the gold versus an unknown name, so I wouldn’t expect him to play a foolish game and fight on the inside.
With the expectation that Fundora will prove his blistering jab, remain on the outside, and pick Booker apart round-by-round, I don’t visualize a stoppage win arriving, not at least until the late rounds. Therefore, backing the over 6 ½ rounds to complete our parlay and deliver a beautiful set of plus-money odds (+299) has me feeling confident.
“I think this was probably my best performance ever.” In what was a candidate for Fight of the Year against Erickson Lubin, @seb_fundora showed he has the grit and resolve to defeat even the toughest opponents.
