It’s not the “superfight” hardcore fans wanted, but we can bet online on “Tank” Davis to notch another scintillating knockout win this Saturday. Davis is an overwhelming favorite for a reason. And the feud Roach has escalated on social media will make the KO look more relishing.
Just as we touted in his bout against Frank Martin, the best way to bet on Davis is via a knockout. Despite being diminutive even for his 135-pound division, Davis lives up to his name with a 93.3% knockout rate. Davis does not only hit hard but he is fast and precise.
Let’s give Roach some credit. He’s a champion and is moving up in weight. However, he’s biting off more than he can chew. Roach has not fought anyone remotely close to Davis’ level. And he does not have the punching power to get in a firefight with Davis. His best way to win here is to outpoint Davis over 12 rounds. This won’t happen.
Davis needs to land just one clean one to put Roach away. Hence, we can’t recommend a boxing pick on Roach even at +850. The 30-year-old is loved because he goes into every fight like his life is on the line.

It’s this chip on Davis’s shoulder that perpetually makes him dangerous and loved by fans. Davis should add to his knockout tally. Laying -450 on a KO win is a steep price for an online bet but it beats laying -2000.

2. Davis Wins in Rounds 7-12
Davis should win by KO. This much is given based on these short odds. But the best boxing bet here could be for Davis to do it in the final six rounds. While all but two of Tank’s wins have come via knockout, most have also come in Rounds 7 onward.
Six of Davis’ last eight wins have come in Rounds 7 or later. He starched Martin and Ryan Garcia in Rounds 8 and 7, respectively. Even the two boxers who finished earlier, Rolando Romero and Leo Santa Cruz, took Davis six rounds.
