I thought Benn would be the favorite to win, so getting +160 is a value price. The latest boxing news suggests Benn is training well for his biggest career fight, and it’s only the 14-month layoff from the ring that is concerning. However, he fights well with rest and he could outpunch and outpower Eubank.
There is also value in backing Benn by decision at +800. There is some risk involved, but it’s worth including in boxing predictions.
2. Over 9.5 Rounds (-115)
The last two of Benn’s fights have gone the distance, including a 12-round effort against Dobson. That gives us confidence that the fight will go over 9.5 rounds.
Eubank Jr. has won his last two fights by TKO, but he fought Liam Smith and Kamil Szeremeta. They aren’t on the same level as Benn, and we expect a long and tiring battle between the middleweights.
