Best Prop and Round Betting Picks for Norman vs Sasaki

• Fight to Go Distance – NO (-200)

Norman has a 77% knockout rate while Sasaki tops at 90%. Even if most of their KOs have come against lower competition, we can’t dismiss the power of these up-and-coming fighters (both are under 25 years old). Looking at the boxing betting lines, the best play is to take -200 that this one ends before the final bell.

Only two of Norman’s last five fights were finished. But if we revisit the bout with Derrieck Cuevas, it shows how Norman can brutalize an opponent with his speed and precision. As they say, “it’s the punches you don’t see coming” that hurt you. Norman may not have significant “oomph” in his shots, but he’ll throw enough to stop a prone boxer.

On the flip side, Sasaki throws intending to finish his opponent. What he lacks in speed or agility, he makes up for in power. • Norman (-115) Finishes Sasaki Late

We’ve seen plenty of upsets recently. Bob Arum cautions Norman and his team to focus purely on Sasaki, rather than looking at big fights in the boxing news. Thankfully, the champion is mature for his age and his journeyman father knows just how dangerous relatively unknown opponents are. So Norman should handle this and win by KO.

Don’t be too worried about the trip to Japan. Norman and his camp will adjust. At worst, we can see Norman starting slow and losing a few early rounds. But once he gets his legs underneath him, we expect Norman to take over and starch Sasaki, as most boxing predictions have.

Norman’s line of -650 is a bit too rich for our liking. But betting him to finish Sasaki at a pick’em price is a solid boxing pick today.
