Top 2 Boxing Parlay Picks for March 29
1. Rinse and Repeat: William Zepeda Wins by Decision (+135)
First of all, what a rematch! William Zepeda (32-0-0), a 29-year-old unbeaten WBC interim lightweight champion, has been dominating the division for some time. Many have him on their future greats list, but we must note that no true champion is made without fighting through the fire.
Back in November of last year, Zepeda was scheduled to fight for the interim title against Tevin Farmer (33-7-1). The latter was massively overlooked, not because of his skills but due to the hype around Mexico’s newest breakout star. However, as a -1500 favorite for boxing futures bets, the Mexican standout was given one of the toughest fights of his career, and just squeaked a split decision over Farmer, who became the first man to go the distance with the rising star in five bouts!
So, this leads us directly to Cancun on Saturday, where Farmer, a 34-year-old who has mostly been viewed as a journeyman, gets his rematch for the gold that barely eluded him last time out. Do we have a repeat scenario on our hands, involving a closely fought battle, or will one of these men make a statement this time around?

History Repeating Itself
Two southpaws with completely different styles make this clash of 135-pounders an intriguing bout, and one we never expected to see again. For Zepeda, he has proven to be the power guy, with a constant flurry of damaging volume. In contrast, Farmer showed veteran savvy, as the seasoned veteran displayed his technical game to be superior early on, working behind his jab and creating space, which ultimately slowed Zepeda down to what he prefers.
When Zepeda got dropped in the fourth round, it became clear we had a fight on our hands, despite the oddsmakers’ bias towards Mexico’s favorite. However, with a display of true fight intelligence, we watched Zepeda find his rhythm and release an arsenal of confident combinations to level the playing field.
Ultimately, it came down to heart and will. Good luck out hearting any Hispanic fighter, and we watched the younger, faster, more determined Zepeda just do enough to get the nod.
Will we witness anything different on Saturday? I believe so, but I expect it’ll mainly stem from Zepeda, who will likely take his foot off the gas early to avoid the trouble he encountered the first time around. Finding an earlier rhythm and neutralizing what served Farmer well will be easier than matching attributes such as reaction time and shot selection.
Zepeda repeats the result of November, but this time he makes it unanimous by finding his groove before getting comfortable to make our boxing predictions look easy.
Zepeda by Decision Supporting Trends:
- Zepeda won the first fight by split decision
- Farmer wasn’t knocked down in the first fight
- Farmer hasn’t lost by knockout in over a decade

Bet This Pick: Zepeda by Decision (+135)
2. Oscar Collazo Beats Edwin Cano by KO/TKO (-900)
The Unified WBO, WBA, and Ring Magazine minimumweight champ, Oscar Collazo (11-0), will defend his crown in hostile territory this weekend as he’s matched with Mexico’s Edwin Cano (13-2-1) for the co-main event of Zepeda vs. Farmer.
In a world where ‘actions speak louder than words,’ it’s safe to assume that the betting odds are doing the talking in this bout, with Collazo coming in at a whopping -5000 favorite. Even Cano’s home field advantage isn’t swaying the odds in this one. Still, it’s easy to see why, as we genuinely have two competitors on different levels, with the champ being significantly more skilled than his Saturday evening adversary.
The Puerto Rico and Mexican rivalry will continue, and to Cano’s credit, he is the No.3-ranked by the WBO. However, and to be brutally honest, his probability of victory over Collazo isn’t just slim at the sportsbooks, but also in the eyes of most diehard boxing critics.

Why the KO Prop Makes Sense
With more juice than an OJ factory on Collazo’s name, we’re forced to look elsewhere on the boxing prop bets board to find something of value. Considering the velocity and furiousness with which ‘El Pupilo’ lands his strikes, and the elite level inexperience of Cano, another stoppage victory for the favorite feels like an obvious outcome here.
We must consider the level of opposition that Cano has faced, and it so happens that his toughest opponent to date was the WBA Super Flyweight champion, David Jimenez, whom he quickly dispatched inside three rounds. This is a huge red flag and a path to victory that Collazo can easily emulate.
Sure, the -900 on a KO/TKO prop isn’t great, but when it comes to parlay selections with the best chance of landing while boosting our odds, I have faith that it will serve us well!
Collazo by KO/TKO Supporting Trends:
Here are some boxing betting trends to consider for this bout:
- Collazo has won 9 of his 11 pro bouts via KO/TKO
- Collazo has won 5 of his last 6 bouts by KO/TKO
- Cano’s lone career loss was by third-round KO
- Cano has lost 2 of his previous 6 bouts
- Collazo is undefeated
Oscar De La Hoya thinks the co-main event between Oscar Collazo and Edwin Cano can steal the show this Saturday ! What do you think?#ZepedaFarmer2 | #TheREMATCH LIVE on DAZN@DAZNboxing @RiyahdSeason pic.twitter.com/6Tjg3Gj6mo
