Baccarat Betting System
Like any game of skill and chance, Baccarat has some players who swear by a particular betting system or strategy. While no system will work 100% of the time, many online baccarat players adhere to the 1-3-2-6 wagering system.
Players like the 1-3-2-6 wagering system for baccarat because of the 1-1 payout ratio for betting on hands. Therefore, this system relies on bets for the ‘dealer’ or the ‘player’, but not ties.
For the sake of simplicity, let’s call the ‘1’ of the system $1. Obviously, you can multiply this by your limits to whatever you want. Because of the accessible limits of online baccarat, $1 is a decent starting point anyways.
For your first bet, you would place a $1 wager. After you win that, add $2 more to your next wager (3 units). Winning that will leave you with a total of $6 (6 units).
Sticking to the 1-3-2-6 system, pull 4 units back and only bet $2. Win or lose that bet, your next bet will be $6. Because you are obviously not going to win each hand, this variation of betting will allow you to absorb some losses when you reduce your bet and increase your winnings when your unit level increases.
If you win the first three and lose the 4th bet, you are back to even, and haven’t technically lost anything. However, with this system, winning 4 bets in a row will be more profitable than if you simply bet the same amount each time.
As you can see, this is certainly not a fool-proof method, but one that can yield some success. It is a great way to add some variety and targeted strategy to your baccarat sessions. Try it out the next time you play, or work on your own variation of this gaming strategy.
