How to Play Blackjack – Executing Player Options

There is a way to execute the various options that are available when you discover how to play blackjack. The way they are done in the online casino is different than they are done in the so-called physical casino. Since we are chiefly concerned with the online game, we’ll explain those differences and how they may be beneficial to you.

Getting accustomed to playing at a blackjack table – whether it is physical or virtual – is sometimes an intimidating process for the player who is just trying to learn how to play blackjack, so we’ll be happy to take it slow with you.

HITTING

This is simple – you ask for a “hit” when you want to add a card to your hand. When you learn how to play blackjack in the physical environment, you find that you are either going to brush your cards toward you or your hand toward you, depending on whether the game if face-down or face-up. When you are playing in an online casino, you’ll see the icon at the bottom of the screen. You will get your “hit” one card at a time. After receiving a card, you count up your total and then make a decision as to whether you want to hit again.

STANDING

In the brick-and-mortar setting, you’ll turn your palm down and move it back and forth. In order words, you don’t want any more. When it’s face-down, you just tuck your cards underneath your chips in the betting square. When you are learning how to play blackjack online, it is much more convenient; you will see the “stand” icon that will appear on the screen next to the “hit” icon because often it is a choice between the two.  You will stand on a hand when you are satisfied with what you have, and that happens after you have been dealt your first two cards, or at any point after a hit. When you click this “stand” symbol, you will stop receiving cards, and the house will start to play out its hand.

DOUBLING

You can “double” or “double-down” when you feel as if your initial two-card hand is good enough that you would like to increase the stakes on it. When you’re in a physical casino, you can double simply by telling the dealer you want to do so, then by adding a sum equal to your original wager, NEXT to the original wager. The dealer will then give you one card, and only one card, face-down. In a face-down game you are going to be putting your cards down and adding the additional bet, then you’ll receive the third card face-up. In cases when you are restricted in terms of what you can double on, you have to show the cards to the dealer first.  This process is much easier when you are learning how to play blackjack online. All you have to do is click the “double” or “double down” icon that appears on the screen, and generally, the rest will happen automatically for you.

SPLITTING

When you receive a pair of cards, you are going to be confronted with the opportunity to split them up and create two separate hands, which ideally will increase your chances of winning. And when you learn how to play blackjack, you’ll find that this can present great advantages. In the physical casino, you just separate the pair and put equal amounts of money in front of each of the two split cards. And you’ll be playing the two hands separately. Online, you’ve got it easy; you just click “split,” which will automatically come on the screen when you are dealt a pair, and the program will then proceed to take a bet that is equal to your original and put that in front of the other half of the split pair. Then you will be dealt a card to each of your split cards, at which point you will play each of these separate hands out as normal.

Learning how to play blackjack online is much easier once you understand what the options are, and how to execute them flawlessly.
