  • Howard is 12-19-1 ATS this season.
  • Wagner is 5-1 ATS in its last six games as an underdog.
  • The under is 4-0 in the Seahawks’ last four games following a straight-up win.
  • The Bison are 13-6 as a favorite in 2023-24.
  • The over is 19-11-2 in Howard’s 32 games this season.
  • Wagner is 14-15-0 ATS this season.
  • The over is 6-1 in the Seahawks’ last seven neutral-site games.

Howard vs Wagner Over/Under Pick: Over 128½

Wagner has played very good defense in 2023-24, ranking sixth in the country in scoring defense, allowing just 62.1 points per contest. The problem for the Seahawks is scoring on the offensive end, as they’re managing just 63.5 points per game.

It’s going to be a big job to slow down the Howard offense in this one, though, as the Bison are averaging 75.1 points per game. They like to get out and run behind the play of junior guard Bryce Harris, who leads the team in both scoring (16.6 points) and rebounding (7.6). Howard should be able to get its offense in gear in this one, making the over one of the March Madness predictions you should be making for this game.

Howard vs Wagner ATS Pick: Howard -3

Howard is making its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance, so its players will be ready for the spotlight that the Big Dance brings. The Bison should be able to get their offense going and get out ahead of the Seahawks early.

Wagner is going to need to have junior guard Tahron Allen keep up his hot scoring touch that powered the Seahawks through the Northeast Conference tournament. Allen averages 10.8 points per game but went for 22 points in two of the three Wagner wins to help it take the conference title.

Howard vs Wagner Prop Pick: Howard Team Total Over 66 (-115)

As stated above, the Bison can light up the scoreboard, and they’ll be looking to get out and go to avoid facing the Wagner halfcourt defense. It might lead to a lot of turnovers, but it will also push Howard closer to its usual scoring output of 75.1 points per game, easily covering the over for the team. Make sure to include this team prop pick among your wagers when you bet online on this game.
