Tigers Ready to Roar
There was no question posed to a star of the losing team like the time that Yale outrebounded Baylor in the March Madness game. However, like that 2016 upset by Yale, fellow Ivy League power Princeton used a strong effort in the rebounding department to eliminate a second straight team out of a Power-5 conference.
Princeton outrebounded Missouri 44-30 and held the 16-8 advantage in offensive boards. Freshman Caden Pierce led the way with seven of his 16 rebounds coming on the offensive end.
Pierce has 24 rebounds in the wins over Pac-12 tournament champion Arizona and Missouri.
Princeton has held the rebounding advantage in each of its last four games as the Tigers topped Penn and Yale to secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament before becoming the latest double-digit seed to reach the regionals.
