There are just three ACC teams with winning road records this season, led by Duke’s 4-0 mark, and that is something to consider when looking at the ACC basketball best bets this week.

The only ACC game on Monday comes in South Bend when the Notre Dame Fighting Irish seek to snap a four-game losing streak to Boston College. The sports betting odds have Notre Dame listed as a double-digit favorite.
What will Duke freshman phenom Cooper Flagg do for an encore after dropping 42 points on Notre Dame in his last game?
ACC favorite Duke has two of the ACC’s five wins against ranked teams this season. That doesn’t figure to change unless Duke stumbles against Miami and Boston College this week.
When looking at the NCAA basketball futures odds, Duke, led by the dynamic Flagg, is the overwhelming favorite to win the ACC title. Pittsburgh is the only other ACC team in the top 30 in the latest NCAA NET rankings.
Let’s check out my best college basketball picks this week for the ACC.
Top 3 NCAAB Predictions for the ACC This Week
1. Boston College vs Notre Dame Game To Land Over
The only ACC game set for Monday is between Boston College and Notre Dame. There have been some intriguing matchups between the Eagles and the Fighting Irish in recent years with five of the last seven games being decided by seven points or less, per Boston College vs Notre Dame stats.
Boston College won both games against Notre Dame last season by a combined total of seven points to extend its winning streak in the series to four games. However, Notre Dame is favored by 11 points.
Taking Notre Dame at -650 to win outright might work as part of the college basketball parlay but not as a standalone bet.
Boston College had been held under 80 points seven times in the last eight games while Notre Dame has averaged 72 points in its first three games in January. Take this game to land over 141.5.
Leading scorer Markus Burton is averaging 20.1 points since returning for Notre Dame and he could be a player prop option.
Bet This Pick: Boston College vs Notre Dame Over 141.5
2. Game of the Week: Stanford at North Carolina
Let’s be honest, this is a pretty mediocre slate of games in the ACC this week. Duke is the clear betting favorite in the ACC but games against 4-12 Miami and 9-7 Boston College teams don’t exactly move the needle.
There are four teams with just one ACC loss and none of them play each other this week, so we will go with the Stanford-North Carolina game on Saturday.
Stanford has recovered after dropping back-to-back games to Clemson and Pittsburgh with convincing victories versus Virginia Tech and Virginia.

North Carolina is 10-2 against unranked teams this season, per NCAAB betting trends.
While RJ Davis has been scoring points for North Carolina for five seasons, freshman Ian Jackson is a player to watch in this game for the Tar Heels. He is averaging 23.2 points over his last six games with 18 3-pointers in that stretch.
3. Cooper Flagg Top Player Prop Option for Duke
A week ago, we promoted Duke freshman phenom Cooper Flagg as the ACC’s best player prop option.
Flagg had a solid game with 19 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a blocked shot in a win over Pittsburgh. That set the stage for a show for the ages by the likely top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Flagg made NCAAB news by scoring 42 points on 11-of-14 shooting to go with six rebounds and seven assists as Duke remained undefeated in the ACC with an 86-78 victory over Notre Dame.

🔵 11-14 FG

Don’t expect another 42-point game from Flagg when making NCAA basketball picks. However, Boston College is 210th and Miami is 308th in defensive efficiency according to the Pomeroy basketball database so it seems unlikely that either team will be able to slow down Duke.
Star freshman Flagg is always a top candidate when it comes to the best ACC player prop options.
