(6) Clemson vs. (2) Arizona

Odds: -7, -300/+240, 151 ½

Time: 7:09 PM ET on CBS

The next round of NCAAB games tips off on Thursday night with the No. 6 Clemson Tigers, one of four ACC teams remaining in the tournament, taking on No. 2 Arizona.

(5) San Diego State vs. (1) UConn

Odds: -10, -485/+370, 135 ½

Time: 7:39 PM ET on TBS

This is a rematch of last year’s national championship game in which the UConn Huskies defeated the San Diego State Aztecs, 76-59. The Huskies’ defense has been suffocating in their first two wins, limiting Stetson and Northwestern to an average of 55 points per game.

(4) Alabama vs. (1) North Carolina

Odds: -4, -185/+155, 173 ½

Time: 9:39 PM ET on CBS

College basketball rumors were circulating that Alabama’s second-round opponent, No. 12 Grand Canyon, would be a matchup headache for the Crimson Tide but that proved to be false as Bama dismissed the Lopes with relative ease in a 72-61 victory.

(3) Illinois vs. (2) Iowa State

Odds: -2, -135/+115, 146 ½

Time: 10:09 PM ET on TBS

In what is likely to be the most competitive game of the night, a pair of conference champions will battle when Big Ten king Illinois takes on the Big 12 champs from Iowa State.

Friday, March 29th (spread, moneyline, total)

(11) NC State vs. (2) Marquette

Odds: -6 ½, -285/+230, 150

Time: 7:09 PM ET on CBS

Both teams had scares in the last round as NC State needed overtime to dispatch the gritty Golden Grizzlies of Oakland and their Cinderella man, Jack Gohlke, while No. 10 Colorado took a second-half charge at Marquette before falling, 81-77, to the Golden Eagles.

(5) Gonzaga vs. (1) Purdue

Odds: -4 ½, -200/+165, 154

Time: 7:39 PM ET on CBS

Gonzaga had an impressive second-round victory over Kansas but will face a much taller task in getting by No. 1 Purdue. The Boilermakers’ Player of the Year, Zach Edey, is a force of nature and Zach Edey’s stats show him averaging 26 ½ points, 17 ½ rebounds, and 3 blocks per game thus far in the Big Dance.

(4) Duke vs. (1) Houston

Odds: -4, -180/+150, 134

Time: 9:39 PM ET on CBS

A miraculous shot with time expiring in regulation brought No. 9 Texas A&M even with heavily favored No. 1 Houston to send the game into overtime. But the Cougars took over from there and came away with a 100-95 victory to advance to the Sweet 16.

(3) Creighton vs. (2) Tennessee

Odds: -2 ½, -150/+130, 143 ½

Time: 10:09 PM ET on TBS

The Big East’s Creighton Bluejays needed double overtime to get past Oregon, 86-73, while Tennessee staved off a late rally by Texas to punch their ticket to a date with the Jays.
