March Madness: Wild Final Four Set for Texas Tussles
Florida Atlantic-San Diego State, UConn-Miami Meet in National Semifinals
The NCAA men’s basketball tournament Final Four will take place on Saturday.
It is April 1 and thinking it would be simply an April Fools’ joke with these four teams could be understood.
However, don’t be fooled. Florida Atlantic, San Diego State, Miami (Fl), and UConn will vie for the national title.
The first game — to no surprise — will pit Florida Atlantic against SDSU. The Aztecs have opened as a 1 1/2-point pick over the Owls.
The nightcap — one many will believe is the actual national title game — features Danny Hurley’s Huskies against Jim Larranaga’s Miami Hurricanes.
