Pac-12 This Weekend: Top 3 Games To Bet

The home teams are 5-0 so far this week in the Pac-12. Only one of the four conference teams with winning road records will be playing away from home this weekend so keep that in mind when making NCAA basketball predictions.

UCLA was the only home underdog on Thursday with the Bruins coming through when looking at the NCAAB expert picks with a four-point win over Colorado.

The Wildcats are third in the NCAA NET rankings despite having a Quad 2 and a Quad 3 loss. The next Pac-12 team in the NCAA NET rankings is Washington State at No. 35 followed by Colorado at No. 42.

When looking at the college basketball futures odds, Arizona is tied for fourth with +1200 odds of winning the national championship. Colorado and Oregon are the next Pac-12 teams with +10000 odds to win March Madness.

It is time to give some love to Washington State as the Cougars go after their 20th win of the season. Washington State was ahead of only Oregon State in the Pac-12 championship odds coming into the season. However, the Cougars are in sole possession of second place in the conference standings.

Washington State is 12-1 at home and is riding a six-game winning streak into the game against Stanford.

Freshman Myles Rice has 46 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and five steals in the last two games.

Stanford was unable to build on a 31-point win over USC as the Cardinal fell to Washington 85-65 on Thursday despite 19 points each from Maxime Raynaud and Brandon Angel.

Washington State has won four in a row against Stanford after its 89-75 road win on Jan. 18 as a 3.5-point underdog. That ended a stretch of four straight games between the Cougars and the Cardinal that finished under the total.

Washington State is 7-6 against the spread at home this season while Stanford has covered in just three of eight road games.

2. Arizona State (13-12 SU, 11-14 ATS) vs Arizona (19-5, 16-8 ATS)

This is the only one of the five Pac-12 games being played on Saturday that features a matchup of teams with winning records.

Arizona has won six of the last seven games against rival Arizona State. However, the last time the Sun Devils came to Tempe, they returned home with the 89-88 win as a 12.5-point road underdog. The Wildcats didn’t have to wait long for a rematch, winning by 19 in the 2023 Pac-12 tournament. Arizona is set to be favored versus ASU for the 11th consecutive time.

Arizona shot 53% in a win over Colorado and this will be the first game in a week for the Pac-12 leaders. Pelle Larsson is averaging 20.7 points and shooting 64% from the field over the last three games for the Wildcats.

Arizona State has won two games in a row after a five-game losing streak. Jose Perez is averaging 18.5 points in those two victories.

3. Utah (15-10 SU, 11-14 ATS) vs UCLA (14-11 SU, 12-11-2 ATS)

  • Date/Time: Sunday, Feb. 18, 7 p.m. ET

UCLA has won six games in a row to move into third place in the Pac-12 standings. It hasn’t been easy with each of the five games in February being decided by eight points or less.

Freshman Sebastian Mack is coming off a 19-point effort against Colorado as he continues to be the leading scorer for the Bruins.

Utah is 1-6 on the road as second-leading scorer Gabe Madsen is shooting 38% on the road compared to 48% at home.

After UCLA had won seven games in a row against the Utes, Utah reserved that trend in emphatic fashion with a 46-point win as the 8.5-point home favorite on Jan. 11. It was the third time in the last four meetings that the game landed under the total.

Utah hasn’t won at UCLA since 2019.

UCLA is last in the Pac-12 with a 4-8 record against the spread at home. However, Utah has covered in just one road game during the 2023-24 season.
