An SEC showdown between a pair of top 15 clubs is on tap for Wednesday night as the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide visit the No. 15 Missouri Tigers. Alabama is coming off an intense loss to No. 1 Auburn on Saturday, snapping the Tide’s seven-game winning streak and putting them a game behind the first-place Tigers in the SEC standings.
Missouri has won two in a row coming into this one to improve to 8-4 in conference play. The Tigers are fifth in the league standings, three games behind Auburn.
Alabama has some of the best odds to win March Madness as it sits at +900. Missouri is listed at +5000 to win the national title. As far as Wednesday’s game, BetUS Sportsbook has it as a pick ‘em. The over/under for the contest is set at 170 points.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the college basketball bets you should be making on this game.
Alabama vs Missouri Prediction
Alabama 92, Missouri 81. The Missouri Tigers face a tough challenge against the Alabama Crimson Tide, who are 21-4 overall and 10-2 in the SEC. Alabama is a stronger team when playing away from home, and they’re coming with a thirst for revenge after a recent loss to Auburn (94-85).

3 Alabama vs Missouri Picks To Make
1. Alabama (PK)
Despite its loss to Auburn on Saturday, Alabama has shown it is one of the top teams in the country all season long. The team’s only road loss of the season came at Purdue back in mid-November, per NCAAB betting trends.
Guard Mark Sears is looking for a better performance than he had on Saturday. The All-American finished with a team-high 18 points in the loss, but he was just 4-of-17 from the floor, including 2-of-11 from 3-point range. He got hot as the Tide rallied from a double-digit deficit in the second half, but it wasn’t enough.
Sears leads Alabama with 17.8 points per game while also dishing out 4.8 assists. His playmaking needs to improve as well, as he’s averaged just 2.6 assists over his last three contests.
The Crimson Tide also need a big game from forward Grant Nelson, who recorded his third double-double in eight games on Saturday. Nelson is averaging 12.6 points and a team-high 8.3 rebounds per contest.
There is plenty of firepower for Nate Oats’ squad as well as experience in winning tough games on the road. We like both of those factors to play into an Alabama road victory in this one. Bet online on the Crimson Tide coming out on top.
Bet On Alabama (PK) vs Missouri
2. Alabama vs Missouri Over 170
Alabama has the top offense in the country, averaging 90.3 points per contest, but Missouri is no slouch either. The Tigers are 19th in the country, averaging 82.6 points per game, so this game is going to be a scorebook keeper’s nightmare.
The Alabama vs Missouri stats show that the Tigers only have three players averaging in double digits, led by guard Tamar Bates’ 13.4 points per game, but nine different players are scoring at least five points an outing.

Bates is the leader in scoring, but guards Mark Mitchell and Caleb Grill are just as dangerous, averaging 12.9 and 12.8 points, respectively. Grill and Anthony Robinson II are deadly from beyond the 3-point arc, with Grill hitting 46.7% of his attempts and Robinson 40%.
Much like the Crimson Tide, Missouri is deep and has a number of players who can make big shots. This game is going to rival some NBA games in scoring, which is why the over is one of our top college basketball predictions for Wednesday.
Bet On Alabama vs Missouri Over 170
3. Alabama F Grant Nelson Over 8.5 Rebounds
Nelson is one of the most versatile big men in the SEC, but he can mix it up under the boards when needed. Grabbing 12 boards against the ferocious Auburn front line on Saturday shows how much of a nose for the ball he has.
Missouri does have 7-footer Josh Gray to contend with, but Gray only averages 5.2 rebounds and that leads the Tigers. Nelson should be able to get to the glass effectively against the Missouri frontcourt, potentially getting Gray into foul trouble as well.
If you’re looking for one of the better college basketball player props to make on this game, Nelson’s rebounding is the way to go. Take the over and get another betting win.
Bet on Grant Nelson Over 8.5 Rebounds
