That has been due to a mix of USC’s offense and lack of defense. Especially at home, the offense has seemingly become a lot more consistent. In USC’s last two wins, it beat California 82-74, then scored 93 in the win over Stanford, averaging 78.9 points per game, fifth most in the Pac-12.

Especially in the Stanford game, the stars of USC came up big. Isaiah Collier had a career-high of 26 points, while Kobe Johnson tied his career-high at 21. On top of that, Boogie Ellis scored 22 points to help the Trojans’ offense put up a big game.

Even though Washington State has allowed the second-fewest points in the Pac-12, at 65.9, our college basketball lines shifted after it allowed 89 in its last game. That performance points to USC having a big offensive game to cover the spread.

Washington State’s defense has been good this season, making the over a difficult option for college basketball picks. On top of that, the last two games for the Cougars have been complete opposites.
