Top 3 College Basketball Prop Picks Today
1. Creighton (-250) to Win Outright
Creighton swept the regular-season series from Xavier during the 2023-24 season and that was the first time that happened in four years. Creighton failed to cover in the home matchup when Steven Ashworth, who has made 90% of his free throws in his five seasons, missed a foul shot with two seconds left to play.
“Xavier will be an NCAA tournament team,” Creighton coach Greg McDermott said Tuesday.
The Musketeers definitely have CU’s attention and the #Jays will have to slow down their pace if they want to keep its win streak alive.https://t.co/6u0hZJNlf8

Fast forwarding to this season, the Bluejays are 10-1 at home this season and have won their last four home games, per Xavier vs Creighton stats. Xavier is just 2-5 on the road this season.
When looking at the Xavier vs Creighton best bets, go with the Bluejays at -250 to win at home again.
2. DePaul vs UConn Over 143
January hasn’t been kind to the two-time defending national champion UConn Huskies. Three losses by a total of 11 points have the Huskies on the verge of dropping out of the top 25 in the national polls.
It looks like the Huskies could get a bit of a breather on Wednesday. A DePaul team with just one win in Big East play over the last two seasons and one road victory this season coming to Storrs before a three-game stretch against Marquette, St. John’s and Creighton.
There is a chance that UConn could get freshman Liam McNeeley back for this game. He has missed six games with an ankle injury. Monitor NCAA basketball news for his status.

When the teams met in Chicago earlier this month, Solo Ball had seven 3-pointers and 22 points in a 13-point win by the Huskies. Ball has at least three 3-pointers in each of his last five games and that is something to consider when looking at the college basketball player props.
The total is set at 143 points for the rematch. UConn’s defensive numbers have taken a hit after four starters left to embark on pro basketball careers while the Blue Demons have allowed more points per game than any other Big East team. That is enough to bet online for the game to land over.
Bet DePaul vs UConn to Land Over 143
3. TCU (+13) to Cover at Texas Tech
No. 22 Texas Tech is 6-1 in January with the only loss coming to No. 3 Iowa State in overtime, when the Red Raiders failed to hold onto a 13-point lead.
Since leading scorer JT Toppin returned to action, Texas Tech is 6-2 as the Red Raiders look to be a force to be reckoned with in the Big 12, per TCU vs Red Raiders stats.
When crunching some numbers, there are two things to watch for when the Red Raiders face TCU on Wednesday. First, five of the last six games between those conference rivals went over the college basketball odds total and Texas Tech has failed to cover in each of the last five meetings with the Horned Frogs.
It won’t be a surprise to see Texas Tech win the first meeting of the season between the teams but it could be a struggle for the Red Raiders to cover the NCAAB spread when listed as 13-point favorites.
