Per Villanova vs Providence stats, Eric Dixon is the nation’s top scorer at 23.5 points per game, but he has been getting more help in recent games. Wooga Poplar led the Wildcats with 22 points, Jordan Longino chipped in with 13 points and Tyler Perkins came off the bench to score 12 as Villanova won its third game in a row. It was Perkins who hit the 3-pointer in the final 10 seconds to hand St. John’s its second conference loss of the season.
Villanova has won five of its last seven games against Providence. With the Friars coming into the game on a four-game losing streak, go with visiting Villanova to cover as a 2.5-point favorite when making your college basketball predictions.

2. South Carolina vs Florida Over 144
The biggest college basketball news for the matchup between No. 3 Florida and South Carolina is the return of 7-1 center Micah Handlogten for the Gators.
The North Carolina native suffered a cringe-inducing injury in the 2024 SEC Tournament title game. Florida has done pretty well without him, but Handlogten announced that he was returning to the court effective immediately.

There will be some rust for Handlogten to shake off, but this is a case of the rich getting richer.
We’re not ready to recommend the Gators as a 14.5-point favorite, but with four of the last five times that South Carolina played at Florida landing over the total, going with Saturday’s matchup to go over 144 points is one of the top college basketball bets to consider.

3. Kansas (-6.5) ATS
It has been a risky proposition to pick Kansas to cover in recent weeks. The Jayhawks are 2-7 against the college basketball spreads in their last seven games and 3-3 outright over the last six.
Kansas came into the season as a title contender and looked every bit the part of a team that could make a deep March Madness run with a 17-point win at home against Iowa State.
However, the Jayhawks fell to in-state rival Kansas State in their next game before rebounding against Colorado. Even with guard KJ Adams back for Kansas, it has been a bit of a bumpy ride for both the Jayhawks and those who bet on the talented Kansas team.
Even though Utah is 9-6 against the spread at home, we like the Jayhawks to take care of business as a seven-point road favorite.
