Purdue’s Braden Smith will need to show up bigger than ever in this matchup, but I’m betting on the latter for my NCAAB expert picks and taking him to finish under 6.5 assists. This shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Yes, Smith’s been solid at setting up his teammates, but Houston’s defense will be anticipating him, likely trapping on every pick-and-roll opportunity. Plus, per NCAA betting tips he’s finished below this mark for three straight games, and I’m expecting that streak to continue.
