Things got pretty physical the first time Indiana and Michigan State met with 41 fouls called and 52 free throws attempted. It could be more of the same on Tuesday night.

Indiana outscored Michigan State 27-12 on 3-pointers in the Jan. 22 meeting with the Hoosiers shooting 60% from 3-point range. If they approach that number again, it is going to be a long night at the office for the Spartans.

Indiana is just 4-6 on the road while 10 of Michigan State’s 16 wins have come at home. The Spartans are 3-4 against teams ranked in the top 25 in the Associated Press poll.

Indiana will be without third-leading scorer and assists leader Xavier Johnson as a result of a foot injury. Center Logan Duncomb is out for the season.

For Michigan State, it should be all hands on deck for the rematch.

Indiana fell three spots in the Associated Press Top 25 poll and two positions in the coaches’ poll and is 17th in both national rankings. Michigan State isn’t receiving votes in either poll.
