We are confident of the Cougars winning and covering the NCAAB spread, especially after looking good in their last two games.

They bounced back from losses to Arizona and Cincinnati with a road win over West Virginia and a home win over Kansas State. Beating Kansas State 80-65 was an impressive offensive performance, which is why NCAAB odds have them favored to beat the Jayhawks on Tuesday night.

We haven’t been impressed with the Jayhawks’ recent form, including a 74-67 loss to Utah on the road. They have 0-3 in their last three road games, per Kansas vs BYU stats, so that doesn’t fill us with confidence. Therefore, BYU is the play at -3.

My college basketball expert picks include over 148.5 for the Kansas vs BYU headliner. The Cougars have shown plenty of skill on the offensive end of the ball recently, including 80 points against K-State and 73 against WVU.

The defense hasn’t been overly great either, allowing Arizona and Cincinnati to score over 83 points. Kansas hasn’t been fantastic on defense, so although it has struggled to score on the road, it could allow BYU to score over 80 points.

It should be a high-scoring contest between teams that need to make ground in the Big 12. The game also features players keen to make an impression with the ball, so the buckets should flow.
