The Tigers’ guards have all been taking turns producing big performances this season, but three of the four posted at least 15 points in the win over Creighton on Saturday. Chad Baker-Mazara scored 17 after four straight single-digit efforts and it is our March Madness prediction that he will be able to come close or match that as Michigan sags on Broome and others. Baker-Mazara bruised his hip in the last game and went 2-for-4 from long range, so he may want to stand and shoot a few more.

We expect this to be relatively close throughout. Broome and Baker-Mazara will get help from Denver Jones, Miles Kelly and Tahaad Petiford while Michigan has plenty of options when times get tough. Donaldson will be especially pumped to play his old mates. It’s not a hard March Madness expert pick to make on no one leading by more than 16 points. Leg 4: Chaney Johnson 5+ Rebounds in Win (-114)

Senior forward Chaney Johnson has seemed to snap out a mini slump where he managed 16 total points in five games. Johnson is averaging 10.5 points over the last two and has hauled in at least seven rebounds in three of the past four, per NCAA betting tips. Fellow backup big man Dylan Cardwell is sporting a leg injury, so it’s possible Johnson may get a few more minutes.
