Best Marquette vs St. John’s ML, Over/Under and Player Prop Picks
1. Marquette ML (+129)
Imagine forcing a team into 25 turnovers on your home court and losing by eight points.
That’s what Marquette did against UConn on Saturday. The Golden Eagles made things difficult for the Huskies many times during the game, but perhaps the overcommitting left some shooters open.
Expect coach Shaka Smart to correct that and leading scorer Kam Jones (19.0) to be the catalyst. Jones did not have good games against St. John’s last season (21 total points) and he remembers.

Stevie Mitchell will be key on the defensive end after managing six points versus UConn. You will also need Chase Ross to continue his strong run (16.3 points per, last three) on the offensive end to cash your NCAAB pick on Marquette.
Expect the Golden Eagles to rebound.
2. Marquette vs St John’s Under 146
St. John’s and Marquette are ranked in the top three of the Big East in scoring offense. They are also in the top three in scoring defense.
Playing at Madison Square Garden may turn it into an offensive show, but the importance of the game will more likely keep the score down. The teams combine for 20 steals per game as the top two in the league.
The key will be 3-point shooting and both teams are near the bottom of the league Red Storm 3-point percentage leader Deivon Smith is 1-for-16 from the field the last two. David Joplin has made the most 3s for Marquette (47) but is shooting 30.7 percent from behind the arc.
If either team is going to make an impact during March Madness, they will have to be better from the 3-point arc. The Golden Eagles are at 32.7 percent and St. John’s at 29.9.
They do play good defense, though. Zuby Ejiofor blocks 1.7 shots per game for St. John’s while Joplin and Mitchell make Marquette’s defense go.

Shaka mentioned how impressed he’s been by David Joplin’s blocks, and that goes for all of #mubb if I say so myself.
Time for a montage. That X block at the end is still surreal. pic.twitter.com/ukoRwltk4V

3. Stevie Mitchell, Kadary Richmond Best Prop Bets
Mitchell scored over 20 points in two straight wins before being held to six against UConn. He should be very prominent in this game.
The senior guard is sixth in the nation in steals per game (2.7) but also shoots 51.4 percent from the field. Bet Mitchell to top his scoring average (11.9) with 14+ points (+142).
Bet on Stevie Mitchell Scoring 14+ Points (+142)
RJ Luis Jr. leads the Red Storm in scoring (17.5) and has been especially good in the last eight contests (19.5, 8.0 rebounds). Luis Jr. probably isn’t your best college basketball player prop for this game, though.
Shoutout to RJ for being named to the Oscar Robertson Trophy Midseason Watch List 👏

Kadary Richmond has been on a roll for the Red Storm, averaging 18.7 points in the last three games – almost seven above his season mark. Bet Richmond to stay hot with 15+ points (+141).
