Rutgers will need even more than Bailey to make a late-season run and get a chance to be a part of March Madness. The Scarlet Knights got strong contributions from Tyson Acuff (13 points) and Lathan Sommerville (nine points, six rebounds), among others, on Wednesday.
Harper injured his ankle in the loss to Michigan State last Saturday and is questionable. The freshman guard averages 18.6 points and 4.1 assists.
Harper is needed. But perhaps the Knights can ride the wave, either way. Rutgers is a great NCAA basketball pick both with the points and to win outright.

Aside from Donaldson, Rutgers guard Jamichael Davis will be very important if Harper is out or is limited. Davis had seven points and eight assists at Northwestern.
