NCAA Basketball Spreads: Missouri Hangs with Kansas
No. 2 Kansas is a 13 1/2-point favorite against Missouri in Saturday’s NCAA basketball betting lines. The over-under is set at 144 points in the Border War matchup.
The Jayhawks are coming off an 88-69 victory over Kansas City on Tuesday. Kansas fans are still pumped about the team’s 69-65 win over defending champions UConn on Dec. 1.

There is a reason Kansas is among the top teams in the country. The Jayhawks already have wins over Kentucky, Tennessee and aforementioned UConn.
Missouri is unranked but has won its last four games. The Tigers defeated Wichita State 82-72 on Dec. 3. Missouri also has wins over Minnesota and Pitt.
Here is a look at my NCAAB picks for the Missouri-Kansas matchup.

Hunter Dickinson Is a Beast
Michigan transfer Hunter Dickinson has wasted little time making his presence felt in Lawrence. The Kansas center is averaging 20.1 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks while shooting 57.9% from long range during his first nine appearances.

It is a dynamic duo for the Jayhawks with guard Kevin McCullar Jr. averaging 19.2 points, 6.9 boards and 5.1 assists per contest during this same stretch.
For Missouri, guard Sean East has been the centerpiece of the team this season. East is posting 16.8 points, 3.4 assists and 2.7 boards per game while shooting a blazing 61.9% from behind the arc.

Although they play different positions, all eyes will be on Dickinson and East in this matchup. Given the depth of the Jayhawks roster, Missouri needs a bigger game out of East to remain in contention against Kansas.
Missouri Hangs Around Versus Jayhawks
This is a rivalry matchup, which makes the Vegas odds a little more complicated. The Jayhawks are unlikely in danger of losing, but the Tigers have the guards to hang around.
Led by East and Missouri’s shooting, look for the Tigers to do enough to cover the sizable spread. Bet online Missouri to cover the spread against Kansas in Lawrence.
