Pac-12 Conference Tournament: Raising Arizona
The Pac-12 Conference tournament is set to be a competitive competition, which includes the likes of the Arizona Wildcats and UCLA Bruins.
College basketball lines have the top-seeded Wildcats as -140 favorites while the Bruins are +175, so it could be a two-team race.

We look at which teams are best to wager on for the Pac-12 tournament.
Team to Beat
Arizona Wildcats
Record: 28-3
Pac-12 record: 18-2
Last Pac-12 Tournament title: 2018
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: -140
Odds to win national title: +650
What you should know: The second-ranked Arizona Wildcats are one of the best teams in the country and they have attracted plenty of attention with the sportsbook.
They are odds-on to win the Pac-12 championship and we don’t blame bookmakers for installing them as firm favorites.
The Wildcats are not only dominant in the conference, but they are 18-12-1 against the spread, so bettors have been cashing in on a regular basis.
Challengers to Watch
UCLA Bruins
Record: 23-6
Pac-12 record: 15-5
Last Pac-12 Tournament title: 2014
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +175
Odds to win national title: +2800
What you should know: The UCLA Bruins are steadily going about their business without making too much fuss.
They could be an underrated team for the national championship and they could test the Arizona Wildcats for the Pac-12 title. They scored a terrific 75-68 win over USC last week, which bodes well.
“I thought about it the whole week going into it,” small forward Jaime Jaquez told Sports Illustrated. “It’s (the seniors’) last night here and there’s no way we were gonna let it happen here on our court against USC.”
NCAA basketball lines are respecting their chances and they’re the next best team in the Pac-12.
USC Trojans
Record: 25-6
Pac-12 record: 14-6
Last Pac-12 Tournament title: 2009
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +800
Odds to win national title: +8000
What you should know: A deep run during March Madness is possible for the USC Trojans, but we think they’re a touch below where they have been over the last two seasons.
Losing players to the NBA is a big factor, but they have managed to produce a quality 25-6 record. They can’t be discounted and if there’s going to be an upset in the Pac-12, USC could be the team to pull it off.
Oregon Ducks
Record: 18-13
Pac-12 record: 11-9
Last Pac-12 Tournament title: 2019
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +1400
Odds to win national title: +10000
What you should know: Bettors should respect the Oregon Ducks, and although they’re drifting in betting markets, they always present a danger to the top teams.
They won the conference title in 2019 and that can’t be overlooked. They’re a well-coached unit and bettors get value betting online odds to lock in.
So You’re Saying There’s a Chance?
Washington State Cougars
Record: 18-13
Pac-12 record: 11-9
Last Pac-12 tournament title: 1941
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +2800
What you should know: The Washington State Cougars are typically a good bet at home, which could be a problem during the tournament.
They are 4-8 on the road, but bettors have had success. With an ATS record of 17-3, the Cougars have been profitable.
We give them a slight chance of winning the Pac-12, but they’ll need to find some more offense to beat the favorites.
Colorado Buffaloes
Record: 20-10
Pac-12 record: 12-8
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +4000
What you should know: NCAAB odds aren’t giving the Colorado Buffaloes much chance of winning, despite owning a solid record.
It was one of their better recent seasons after going 20-10, so the +4000 odds could be worth a nibble.
They don’t often win by big margins, even against the easier teams, but ruling them out would be a mistake.
Arizona State Sun Devils
Record: 14-16
Pac-12 record: 10-10
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +5000
What you should know: There is very little confidence in the Arizona State Sun Devils and it should have something to do with their losing record.
We’re not used to seeing them post a losing 14-16 record, so it’s a down year for the Sun Devils.
Bettors get big odds for the Pac-12 championship, but they’d need a minor miracle to progress much further than the third round.
Washington Huskies
Record: 16-14
Pac-12 record: 11-9
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +20000
What you should know: Bettors have enjoyed the 17-13 ATS record of the Washington Huskies, but they’re not a strong title contender.
Posting a winning record should be commended, but there are two strong contenders in the Pac-12 and we can’t see the Huskies beating either Arizona or UCLA.
Stanford Cardinal
Record: 15-15
Pac-12 record: 8-12
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +20000
What you should know: There isn’t much to get excited about the Stanford Cardinal on the basketball court.
Most of the school’s attention is placed on the football team and it shows. The 8-12 conference record doesn’t stand out and it would take a brave bettor to place a wager at the +20000 odds.
Utah Utes
Record: 11-19
Pac-12 record: 4-16
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +25000
What you should know: Big odds are available for the Utah Utes and rightfully so. Once a solid team in the Pac-12, the same can’t be said this season.
With only four conference wins, we can’t see that total increasing. The disappointing run will likely come to an end early in the tournament.
California Golden Bears
Record: 12-18
Pac-12 record: 5-15
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +50000
What you should know: As the odds suggest, the California Golden Bears have little chance of winning the championship.
Winning 12 games was an OK effort, but with only five wins in the Pac-12, we can’t see them making an impression in March Madness betting markets.
Oregon State Beavers
Record: 3-27
Pac-12 record: 1-19
Odds to win Pac-12 Tournament: +50000
What you should know: We’re not sure how the Oregon State Beavers aren’t +500,000 to win the Pac-12, but they are about as dismal as it gets.
The record speaks for itself and they’re only 9-20-1 ATS, which makes their record even harder to stomach.
They’ll be out of the competition early.
