NCAAB Parlay: Ride Road ’Dogs Virginia, Oklahoma
It has been more than 10 years since Virginia has been listed by our college basketball odds as an underdog against Boston College. Despite two recent sluggish performances, that is the first game that caught our eye when putting together a three-game parlay off Wednesday’s college basketball schedule.
Oklahoma is another road underdog to keep an eye on while we like the St. John’s-Butler Big East showdown to go over the total to complete a parlay that payout out at +600.

Twelve road underdogs covered on Tuesday with eight of those teams winning outright. Will that trend continue on Wednesday?
Oklahoma visits Iowa State, which is +2200 in our March Madness betting odds. Virginia has +10000 odds to win the national title.
Here are three parlay options to consider heading into Wednesday’s action.
Parlay Pick: Oklahoma +9½ at Iowa State
It is hard to know what to expect from the Oklahoma Sooners. They had a 16-point win over a ranked Brigham Young team in early February, gave Kansas a good fight before losing by 10 points but struggled to beat rival Oklahoma State twice in two weeks.
Now the Sooners are nearly a double-digit underdog to Iowa State. The Cyclones are one of two Big 12 teams still undefeated at home. However, that 9½-point line does seem to be a little on the high side considering that each of Iowa State’s last four games have been decided by single digits.
Even though Iowa State has covered in 12 of its 15 games as a home favorite, go with the Sooners to hang around and cover as a road underdog.
Parlay Pick: St. John’s vs Butler Over 153
Since Rick Pitino blasted his St. John’s team in the post-game press conference after a loss to Seton Hall, the Red Storm have scored 90 and 80 points. While the 90 points came against lowly Georgetown, St. John’s did drop 80 on a Creighton team that is one of the top teams in the Big East.
Now comes a trip to Indianapolis to play Butler.
The Bulldogs have been in a bit of an offensive funk with an average of 61 points over the last three games, but look for Butler to have a little more success on offense when St. John’s comes to town.
St. John’s is 50th and Butler is ranked 83rd in defensive efficiency, according to the Pomeroy college basketball database, so why not take a chance on this game landing over the 153-point total set by the BetUS Sportsbook ?
Parlay Pick: Virginia +1½ at Boston College
Things didn’t go so well the last time when Virginia hit the road to face Boston College with the Eagles rolling to a 15-point win as a nine-point home underdog.
It has been 13 years since Boston College has been favored against Virginia.

While the Eagles are 10-4 at home, it is still hard to pick against Virginia, which will look to bounce back after losing to Virginia Tech and North Carolina in its last two games.
Virginia had won 11 of 12 games in this series before Boston College’s win the last time that the Eagles faced the Cavaliers.
Virginia has fallen to 47th in the NCAA NET rankings and this is a game that the Cavaliers can’t afford to lose if they want to remain in contention for an at-large spot in the March Madness bracket.
Go with Virginia to take care of business on the road as the slight underdog.
