We look for the best college basketball odds today to find the best bets ahead.

Top 3 College Basketball Picks Today

1. Minnesota vs Maryland Over 139

Since the start of December, Maryland is putting up 89.5 points in its six home games. Per Minnesota vs Maryland betting tips, the Terrapins are facing an opponent that has allowed 81, 89 and 80 points in its last three games.

The first Big Ten road game did not go well for the Gophers as unranked Wisconsin led by as many as 30 points on the way to an 80-59 victory.

Minnesota’s Dawson Garcia has scored at least 20 points in four of his last eight games while freshman Derik Queen is one of five Maryland players averaging more than 10 points per game so there will be some NCAAB player prop options for both teams.

Another option when making college basketball bets today is for the Minnesota-Maryland game to land over 139 points.

2. Boston College (+11) To Cover At Notre Dame

Notre Dame has covered in just one of its last seven games against Boston College, with the Eagles winning six of those games. These teams are headed in different directions, resulting in the sporting betting odds favoring Notre Dame by 11 points.

There isn’t much value in going with the Fighting Irish at -650 to end a four-game losing streak to Boston College. However, Notre Dame is just 2-4 against the college basketball spread as a double-digit favorite this season.

With Markus Burton leading the way, Notre Dame made things a little interesting despite allowing Duke freshman Cooper Flagg to score 42 points. Still, the Fighting Irish fell to 1-4 in the ACC.

Only the presence of Miami is keeping Boston College from being in last place in the ACC standings this season. Even though the Eagles have lost their first two road games, go with Boston College to hang around and cover as a double-digit underdog with your online bet.

Bet This Pick: Boston College (+11)

3. American vs Loyola (MD) Over 137

Loyola (MD) has played in four consecutive games decided by six points or less and three of those Patriot League contests finished as one-score games, so it is not a surprise that the Greyhounds are a one-point home favorite according to the NCAAB basketball lines.

Another college basketball trend to consider is that eight straight Loyola games featured a combined total of more than 140 points.

Visiting American has been playing in lower-scoring games with 114 and 126 points scored in its last two matchups. Just five players have appeared in all 17 games this season, per American vs Loyola stats.

While it is tempting to go with Loyola to cover as the home favorite, take this Patriot League showdown to land over 137 points.

Bet This Pick: American vs Loyola (MD) Over 137
