NCAAB Tuesday Parlay: Bet Big East, SEC Clashes to Go Over
Kentucky isn’t often listed by our college basketball odds as an underdog against an unranked team. With that being the case heading into the game at Mississippi State and the Wildcats scoring 117 points in its most recent game, why not take a chance on Kentucky covering as the road ‘dog?
While rivalry games like the ones between Georgetown and Villanova can often be defensive slugfests, we like a few more points to be scored as was the case when the teams met in Washington, DC in mid-February. The Arkansas-Vanderbilt showdown is another candidate to go over as part of a three-game parlay.

The road teams both covered in the two games involving ranked teams on Monday. Will that trend continue on Tuesday with six ranked teams in action?
Kentucky is +2500 in our March Madness betting odds. Michigan State is at +5500 in the title odds largely because of head coach Tom Izzo.
Here are three parlay options to consider heading into Tuesday’s action.
1. Road Underdog to Cover – Parlay Pick: Kentucky +3½
It has been a bit of a bumpy ride at times for Kentucky, with the latest example being a one-point loss to unranked LSU in its last road game.
The Wildcats are back on the road to face a Mississippi State team that has won five games in a row.
Kentucky is coming off a huge win over Alabama, with freshman Justin Edwards leading the way with 28 points on 10-of-10 shooting. Kentucky’s freshmen had 74 points in that victory.

Although Mississippi State has only lost twice at home this season, seeing the Wildcats as the 3½-point underdog is too good to pass up, making it the first of our college basketball picks and parlays.
2. Vanderbilt vs Arkansas Goes High – Parlay Pick: Vanderbilt, Arkansas Over 145
Arkansas is coming off an 88-point effort in its last game, also at home. The Razorbacks will be taking on a Vanderbilt team that has surrendered 88, 76, and 77 points in the last three games since the Commodores upset Texas A&M.
Both these teams allow more than 70 points per game and have given up more points than they have scored.
That is making the 145-point total a pretty tempting online bet, especially considering that Arkansas is third in the SEC with 18 of its games landing over the total. The Razorbacks are 9-0-1 against the total as a home underdog, so go with this SEC showdown to finish over 145 points.
3. Showdown at Villanova Tops Mark – Parlay Pick: Georgetown vs Villanova Over 140
There was a time when a Georgetown-Villanova game was a must-see TV. The 1985 matchup with the national championship on the line is still one of the most memorable games in NCAA basketball history.
The transition for first-year coach Ed Cooley at Georgetown has not been a smooth one as the Hoyas are 9-18 with the only two Big East wins coming against DePaul. However, six of Georgetown’s nine games as a road underdog have gone over the total.
When facing the top six teams in the Big East standings, the Hoyas have allowed an average of 82 points per game. Look for more offense after the teams combined for only 124 points when they met less than two weeks ago,
Six of the 12 times that Villanova has been favored at home, the total finished over.
Neither of these teams push the pace, with the adjusted tempo for Villanova in the latest Pomeroy college basketball ratings at No. 344 and Georgetown ranked 221st. Still, the 140-point total set by BetUS sportsbook is pretty enticing since Georgetown is allowing 77 points per game.
