We believe the same outcome will happen again. The under has hit in the last six matchups between the two and has hit in Creighton’s last four home games overall. UConn is 14th in the nation, allowing just 63.7 points per game, and hasn’t yielded 70 points in its last 10 games.

The defending champion Huskies have won games in so many different ways. Against Marquette, they fed sophomore center Donovan Clingan, who made 7 of 8 field goal attempts en route to 17 points. Clingan will square off against Bluejays big Ryan Kalkbrenner, who averages over 17 points and seven rebounds on the season. In the last meeting, the Huskies held Kalkbrenner to just 11 points, but he is hot and is averaging 22 points in his last three games. The Bluejays will need Kalkbrenner to continue his strong play if they want to keep pace with Clingan and the Huskies and cover in the college basketball betting odds.

The Huskies could also lean on veteran point guard Tristen Newton, who averages 15 points while leading the team in rebounding and assists. He was recently supplanted as leading scorer by shooting guard Cam Spencer, who shoots over 44 percent from three. Forward Alex Karaban, who shoots 40 percent from beyond the arc, had only seven points against Marquette following two games where he surpassed 20.

But the X-factor for the Huskies is the emergence of freshman phenom and NBA draft prospect Stephon Castle. Though he barely averages double figures, Castle led the team with 20 points in a close win against Providence and has eclipsed double figures in four of his last six games. He also chips in over four rebounds and three assists per contest.

Outside of Kalkbrenner, the Bluejays will lean on guard Baylor Scheierman, who leads the team with over 18 points and eight rebounds per game. He has 11 straight games scoring in double figures and has reached 20 points in six of those. Point guard Trey Alexander also chips in 17 points and nearly five assists per game.

We believe the Huskies will roll here. Even if Kalkbrenner keeps Clingan in check, they have so many ways they can beat you. And in doing so, they will do so by more than the three-point college basketball spread.
