A matchup of two of the three teams still undefeated in SEC play is on tap for Tuesday night, with the No. 21 Ole Miss Rebels visiting the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide. Both squads have perfect 3-0 marks against conference competition, but you wouldn’t know that from the lines set for the game.

Per the college basketball lines, Alabama is an overwhelming favorite, giving 11½ points to visiting Ole Miss. Taking the Crimson Tide on the moneyline will get you -665 odds, while the Rebels are +485 to pull the outright upset. The over/under for the game is set at 164 points.

Ole Miss has won three in a row and has lost just two games all season – to Memphis and Purdue, which are both ranked in the top 20 currently. Alabama comes into this one on an eight-game winning streak, including a road victory over No. 11 Texas A&M on Saturday.

3 Bets You Should Make On Ole Miss vs Alabama

1. Alabama -11½

The last ranked team to come into Coleman Coliseum to face the Crimson Tide was Oklahoma, which left with its first loss of the season, falling by 28 on Jan. 4. Alabama can score points in bunches, leading the nation in scoring at 91.1 points per game and having scored 80 or more points in a school-record 12 straight games, per NCAAB betting trends.

Leading the charge is guard Mark Sears, who is averaging 23.6 points and 6.6 assists in conference play. The senior has season averages of 19.1 points and 4.5 assists and helps push the pace for coach Nate Oats.

But the All-American is hardly the only offensive threat for the Crimson Tide. Freshman guard Labaron Philon is scoring 12.1 points per game, while senior forward Grant Nelson is averaging 12.2 points and 8.6 rebounds a contest.

Ole Miss has some scoring as well, but it’s going to have a very hard time keeping up with the Crimson Tide in this one. Make sure you bet online on Alabama covering in an easy win.

2. Ole Miss vs Alabama Over 164

Any total set for this game is going to be in danger, with the explosive offense of the Crimson Tide and the Rebels averaging 79.0 points per game. This game is going to be a track meet, so 164 may be in danger in the first half.

The Rebels have a very balanced attack, with five players averaging between 9.4 and 14.1 points per game, per Ole Miss vs Alabama stats.

At the top of that list is guard Sean Pedulla, who is going to be a key to any chances Ole Miss has of pulling off the upset. Pedulla is shooting 40% from 3-point range and must be able to bury some long ones early to keep the Crimson Tide defense from packing the paint.

He and backcourt mate Jaylen Murray (11.8 points, 4.1 assists per game) must also take care of the basketball. Turning the ball over against Alabama is akin to suicide, though avoiding turnovers against the Crimson Tide is easier said than done.

The Rebels will do their part to push this game over the total, so make sure your online sports betting includes a wager on the over.

3. Alabama F Grant Nelson Over 8½ Rebounds

One of the better things about Alabama is its ability to hit the offensive glass, and Nelson is one of the best at that. The senior is third in the SEC in rebounding this season, averaging 8.6 per game, and we like him to be all over the backboards in this one for player prop picks.

At 6-foot-11, Nelson will be one of the bigger men on the floor whenever he’s playing, and he has a nose for the basketball. He’s averaging 9.7 boards over his last seven games, including grabbing 10 or more in four of those contests.

We like him to grab at least nine boards in this one, so make sure you make one of your prop picks on one of our top NCAAB predictions for today: Nelson hitting the over on his rebound total.
