My Analysis

I don’t think we’ll have to wait long for the first points in this Big East semifinal with baskets being scored on the opening possession in both meetings during the regular season.

UConn loves the bright lights and the late-night games at Madison Square Garden. However, this is not the same team that won the 2024 Big East tournament title. The experience of Ryan Kalkbrenner and Steven Ashworth should keep the Bluejays from getting flustered.

It might be a surprise that since UConn returned to the Big East, Creighton has made it to more Big East title games than the Huskies. We’re not sure that will continue even if Creighton is a solid college basketball pick to cover.
