USC Intriguing ATS, Moneyline Play vs. Colorado
The Colorado Buffaloes head on the road to face the USC Trojans in a game featuring one of the more interesting spreads and tough games for NCAAB predictions today. The second matchup of the season between these teams is set for a 10 p.m. ET tip on Saturday, Feb. 17, and features Colorado as a 1 1/2-point favorite. The over/under for this matchup is currently 151 1/2.

Colorado vs USC Game Information

- Date/Time: Feb. 17, 10 p.m. ET

Colorado’s road woes are well-documented, but Saturday’s college basketball spreads still give the Buffs the edge over a USC team that’s struggled to find its footing. USC will look to build off some home success it has found and doing so will mean a lot of Boogie Ellis and Isaiah Collier for the Trojans. These teams met in Boulder, Colorado, where the Buffaloes pulled out a 68-58 win thanks to a huge second-half comeback, outscoring USC 44-21 in the final 20 minutes.

Taking Over 151 1/2 When Colorado Squares Off with USC
Both Colorado and USC are coming off games that featured lower-scoring totals than we’ve seen from the two this season. Colorado fell to UCLA 64-60 and USC defeated Utah 68-64. Prior to those games, both teams had been floating around the 70-80 point range of late, but wins have been tough to come by for both sides.
I think we see both teams revert to form and it should bring a higher total in the end, ultimately clearing the over/under of 151 1/2.
Targeting USC +1 1/2 vs Colorado
While the records for these teams would signal that Colorado is the superior play here, USC’s impressive win over Utah was noteworthy. But more than that, both teams have struggled of late. USC has been surprisingly better in the win column, going 2-2 in its last four games, but lost six straight before that. As for Colorado, a four-game winning streak in late January was followed by a 1-4 mark over its last five games.
Colorado’s struggles in true road games at an opponent’s arena are noteworthy as well. The Buffaloes have one road win this season against the Washington Huskies. USC’s two most recent victories were both at home and 7 of their 10 wins came at Galen Center. I think USC gets the job done and picks up win No. 11 in a small college basketball betting upset.
USC Moneyline vs Colorado Worth Playing on Saturday
The moneyline for both teams makes a lot of sense here, depending on which side you lean. While I’m taking USC at +1 1/2, I’ll also grab the plus-money spot on their moneyline with odds of +110 currently. If the line shifts more, we could get better odds ahead of tip-off, so that’ll be worth monitoring as well.

Questions of the Day
Which player is the best bet to total the most rebounds when Colorado plays USC?
Colorado big man Eddie Lampkin Jr. has shown the upside to do damage on the boards while averaging 7.2 rebounds per game over 27 minutes. But the key reason for this pick is that USC has largely had a committee approach to rebounding, with only one player averaging five per game in forward DJ Rodman.
Which player is the best bet to make the most 3-pointers between Colorado and USC?
USC guard Boogie Ellis has attempted the most 3-pointers of any player on either team, knocking down 61 of 151 attempts. His 40.4% mark from deep is noteworthy.
