UTSA vs Troy Betting Props: Cure Bowl
Battle of Conference Champions
Teams Both Have 10-Game Winning Streaks
The No. 24 Troy Trojans and No. 25 UTSA Roadrunners both seek an 11th straight victory when they square off in the Cure Bowl in Orlando, Fla., on Friday. Troy won the Sun Belt Conference championship game, outscoring Coastal Carolina to win its 10th straight game.
UTSA is also coming off a conference title game victory, defeating North Texas in Conference USA’s championship. Both teams have been hard to beat this season, so this is going to be an entertaining contest. Let’s go through a few of the prop bets you should take a look at to make the game profitable for you as well.
Let’s check the latest college football odds, stats, injury reports, and college football lines for Troy vs Texas San Antonio. We’ve plenty of NCAA football odds for you to consider.
Tez Johnson Over 70½ Receiving Yards (-115)
Troy’s passing offense has been helped by the presence of Johnson and Johnson this season, with Tez Johnson leading the team with 823 yards while RaJae’ Johnson is second with 672. Having a pair of receiving threats will make it hard for the UTSA defense to focus on just one, and we like the sophomore Johnson to have a big game.
Johnson had just three catches in each of his last two games, but that’s allowed RaJae’ Johnson to shine, as he’s gone over 100 receiving yards in each of those contests. We’re anticipating that to flip-flop back to Tez Johnson as the receiver with a big game in the bowl as UTSA looks to shut down the hot target.
Tez Johnson is averaging 15.8 yards per catch and can get lost in a secondary with his small size of 5-foot-10, 150 pounds. UTSA has had a hard time shutting down opponents in the passing game, allowing 253.5 yards per game through the air, and the Roadrunners will be trying to keep up with both Johnsons throughout this contest.

Frank Harris Over 287½ Passing Yards (-115)
The UTSA passing attack has been dangerous behind the play of senior Frank Harris, who ranks sixth in the country with 3,865 yards through the air. Harris has gone over 300 passing yards in each of his last two games, including 382 with three touchdowns in the Roadrunners’ victory over UTEP in the regular-season finale.
The 287½ passing yards is a lofty number, but Harris has eclipsed that in eight of 13 games this season, falling just short with 273 in an October win over Western Kentucky. The Roadrunners should be opening things up in this one, and Harris wants to end this magical season with a big performance.
Troy has been solid defensively for much of the season, allowing just 17.5 points per game, but gave up 319 passing yards to Coastal Carolina’s Grayson McCall in their last outing. Harris should find that same type of success in Friday’s contest.
First Score Of The Game: Touchdown (-310)
These two teams have explosive offenses – and great defenses – so take a flier on the first score of this game being a touchdown. Both teams like to throw the ball, so a passing touchdown could be an even better payout as a bet, but going with a touchdown of any kind is probably a safer bet.
This should be an exciting contest between two teams that are looking to finish on a high note. The over bet (55½) for this game is another good one to look at when you are doing your betting online.
