College football action continues on Saturday and we have picked five of the best betting games for totals.
Featured in our picks are Arkansas vs Georgia, Michigan vs Wisconsin, Louisville vs Wake Forest, Cincinnati vs Notre Dame and Baylor vs Oklahoma State.
The sportsbook has odds available for all the major games, and there is good money to be made betting totals.
Arkansas Razorbacks at Georgia Bulldogs
Saturday, Noon ET
We love it when two unbeaten teams meet, especially when they can pile on the points.
Bookmakers have the line set lower than we expected, especially after Georgia scored 62 points against Vanderbilt last week.
Arkansas is a better defensive team than Vanderbilt, but there doesn’t seem to be any slowing down the Bulldogs’ offense.
The Razorbacks are averaging 35.8 points, so we have every reason to believe the total is going over 48½ points. College football odds are in our favor with this matchup, which could become a slugfest.
We expected the line to be around 54, so we’re happy with the current line and it should get bettors off to a winning start on Saturday.
Pick: Over 48½ (-110)
Michigan Wolverines at Wisconsin Badgers
Saturday, Noon ET
We’re not sure what has gone wrong with the Wisconsin offense this season, but it hasn’t been pretty to watch.
Scoring just 19 points per game, the Badgers are in deep trouble of falling to 1-3. The main problem has been quarterback Graham Mertz, who has thrown an incredible six interceptions with only one touchdown.

After last week’s 41-13 thrashing at the hands of Notre Dame, there have been calls to replace Mertz. The Badgers have been held to only 23 points against Notre Dame and Penn State, so facing Michigan’s torrid defense won’t help matters.
Michigan averages 11.8 points on defense but scores 40.3. The over 43½ could hit if Michigan has another explosion, but we think this will be a tight game rife with turnovers.
College football spreads have Michigan as the +1½ underdog, which is hard to believe considering the opposing directions they’re going in. However, take the under in what should be a defensive battle.
Pick: Under 43½ (-110)
Louisville Cardinals at Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Saturday, 12:30 p.m. ET
Points and plenty of them are expected as the Louisville Cardinals travel to face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
The Cardinals are averaging 31.8 points and Wake Forest 38.8. It comes as no surprise to see a big line from bookmakers in what could eventuate into a very high scoring battle.
Wake Forest has scored over 34 points in all four games, including 37 against a tough defensive outfit in Virginia last week. If it can produce points against Virginia and Florida State, it should have no problem turning on the jets against Louisville.
We have been impressed with Malik Cunningham, who has 998 passing yards for the Cardinals. He has rejuvenated this team and it could be a tit-for-tat touchdown battle on Saturday.
Cunningham admits the offense took its foot off the gas against Florida State last week, so more points could be in the cards.
“They definitely made adjustments because if not we would have had 60,” Cunningham told ESPN. “I think we relaxed a little bit as an offense. We kind of laid back a little bit and thought the game was over. We got to finish off games. We started off fast. We just have to finish better in order to get to the next step to an elite offense.”

Pick: Over 62 (-110)
Cincinnati Bearcats at Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Saturday, 2:30 p.m. ET
Despite the Bearcats and Fighting Irish showing impressive offensive statistics, we’re backing the under 50½.
Cincinnati averages 15 points on defense, and Notre Dame 23.3. We expect it to be a grueling defensive battle where the likes of Jack Coan and Desmond Ridder could struggle to get going.
BEARCATS BACK UP 📈@GoBearcatsFB advances to #7 in this week’s AP Top 25 Poll. It sets up a top-10 showdown with #9 Notre Dame on Saturday in South Bend. 😏
— Cincinnati Bearcats (@GoBEARCATS) September 26, 2021
Notre Dame held Wisconsin and Purdue to 13 points apice, and although Cincinnati is a better outfit, we don’t think the Bearcats will be as effective.
Betting online markets have a generous line, so we’re confident with a low-scoring contest being the likely outcome.
Pick: Under 50½ (-110)
Baylor Bears vs Oklahoma State Cowboys
Saturday, 7 p.m. ET
Bookmakers have a low line of 47½ posted, so we’re jumping on the over before the line moves.
Baylor is an offensive juggernaut after scoring 45 points against Kansas and 31 against a tough Iowa State team. Facing the Oklahoma State Cowboys won’t be easy, but this should be a classic Big 12 Conference shootout.
Oklahoma State scored 31 points against Kansas State last week, so that’s good news for over 47½ bettors. It’s capable of putting up big totals, and we think the defenses will struggle throughout the night.
