After falling behind 10-7 in the first quarter, the Eagles came roaring back, outscoring host Bowling Green 48-14 the rest of the way to cruise to a 55-24 victory. Quarterback Ben Bryant led the way, completing 20 of 26 passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns.
Even when Bryant stepped to the sideline, the Eagles kept flying with four different players catching touchdown passes from three QBs in the game. Gunnar Oakes had four catches for 79 yards and a score while Dylan Drummond had six receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Eastern Michigan improved to 3-5 against the spread this season, including wins in three of its last five games. It was the first road win ATS for the Eagles, who are 1-3 as the visitor.

Toledo Rockets
Next game: at Bowling Green
Last Game
The Rockets snapped a two-game losing streak with a 34-15 home win over the Western Michigan Broncos in NCAA football action on Oct. 23. Toledo entered the second half trailing 15-13, but scored 21 points in just under eight minutes in the third quarter to turn things around.
Quarterback Dequan Finn completed just 8 of 24 passes for 138 yards, but two of those completions were for touchdowns. The defense came up big as well, forcing two turnovers, including a 35-yard fumble return by Zachary Ford for a touchdown during the third-quarter run.
Toledo improved to 4-4 against the spread, with its last six results reflecting its straight-up results. The Rockets are just 1-3 ATS at home, with the win over Western Michigan being the team’s first victory.
Injury Report
The Rockets are fairly healthy, with no significant injuries to report.
Betting on the Game
The story of this one could be whenever Eastern Michigan has the ball. The Eagles are averaging 32.8 points but the Rockets are allowing just 18.3 per contest. The offensive explosion in their last game against Bowling Green shows how potent the Eagles can be, but Toledo has been very strong against the pass, allowing only 180.4 yards per game.
Toledo can also put points on the board, averaging 28.5. The quarterback situation remains in flux, with Finn taking over the duties just recently. If he struggles in this one, coach Jason Candle could go back to Carter Bradley for a spark.
This one seems like it’s going to be tight, so the nine-point spread seems a little difficult for the Rockets to cover. Expect a close game when making your college football picks on this one.
As far as the over/under is concerned, 53 seems a little low. These two teams combine to average over 61 points per game, so even if they both go slightly under their averages, this game should hit the over. Since it’s a nationally televised game on a Tuesday night, expect some wild things — and plenty of scoring.
Final Score: Toledo 33, Eastern Michigan 28
