Clemson has experience at running back with senior Phil Mafah in his fourth season and at quarterback as Cade Klubnik is in his third season as a starter.

Two of the top four tacklers are seniors so there is some experience on both sides of the ball. That can be a big deal at this time of the year and could factor into NCAAF picks and predictions. If there is a concern, it comes on the defensive side of the ball. The Tigers are in the middle of the pack among ACC teams in many defensive categories. No ACC team allowed more plays from scrimmage of at least 20 yards than the Tigers. That is a cause for concern going up against Texas. Keep that in mind when making NCAA football betting picks.
