Ole Miss returns to this week’s edition of the NCAA Football Line Movement. We look at Week 7’s biggest movers, which feature some tight tilts with Pac-12 teams and some good ol’ college football rivalries. Check out these college football odds from the BetUS sportsbook.
Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Northwestern Wildcats
Opener: Rutgers -1½, Current Line: Rutgers -2½
Despite losing three games in a row, Rutgers (3-3) is receiving the brunt of the bets online thanks to getting a step down in competition against the Wildcats (2-3). Northwestern has alternated wins and losses but has only covered once this season.
Rutgers scored exactly 13 points in all three of its losses. But it should be able to get its offense going again against Northwestern, which allows 27.2 points per game. The last time these two schools met was in 2018 when Northwestern won 18-15 but Rutgers covered the 20.5-point spread.
Miami Hurricanes at North Carolina Tar Heels
Opener: Over 62½ Current Line: Over 63
The underperforming Hurricanes (2-3) and Tar Heels (3-3) meet in what should still be an entertaining tilt. The schools are still averaging over 30 points each though Miami lost its starting quarterback, D’Eriq King to season-ending shoulder surgery.
Without King, “The U” will have a tougher time manufacturing offense. Still, North Carolina has the potential to be explosive as evidence by their back-to-back 59 point games to open their season. Four of the last six games between these teams have also gone over.
(13) Mississippi Rebels at Tennessee Volunteers
Opener: Over 81 Current Line: Over 82
Coach Lane Kiffin leads his new team, the Mississippi Rebels (4-1) against his ex-team, the Tennessee Volunteers (4-2) as a new chapter to this storied rivalry. Oddsmakers widely expect this to be one of the highest-scoring games of the year. As if 81 points wasn’t high enough, the line has moved up by a point although more than half of the money is coming in on the under.

These teams combine to average 87.7 points with top-seven offenses in the nation. Three of Ole Miss’s last four games have gone over and four of Tennessee’s last five have as well. It will be tough to cover the 82 points but it’s a lot more fun to bet the over.
UCLA Bruins at Washington Huskies
Opener: Washington pk Current Line: Washington -1
The once-ranked Bruins (4-2) take on the Huskies (2-3) and are an underdog for the first time since Week 1 when it upset the LSU Tigers. UCLA is receiving at least two-thirds of sports bets but sharp money favors Washington, even if it has only covered one spread this year.
As a pick’em, however, all Washington needs to do is win the game. The Huskies have won two of their last three home games against UCLA and it has a 9-5 record at the Husky Stadium since 2019.
(18) Arizona State Sun Devils at Utah Utes
Opener: Arizona State pk Current Line: Arizona State -1
Another pick’em game that has a significant lean on one team, Arizona State (5-1) has won three straight games including one over UCLA as a three-point underdog. The Sun Devils are only 3-3 against the college football spreads but their opponent, Utah (3-2) is even worse at 1-4.
Arizona State has dominated the series against Utah, having won six of their last nine meetings. The Sun Devils have also only lost to the Utes once in ten games as a ranked team. However, Utah has won 15 of its last 16 home games.
