The Ducks used a 17-0 run in the fourth quarter to pull away from visiting Arizona and earn a 41-17 victory last week. Oregon had a 24-19 advantage entering the fourth after the Wildcats had scored 12 straight points.
A field goal by Camden Lewis pushed the lead to eight points, and Anthony Brown connected with Spencer Webb for an 18-yard scoring pass to make it 34-19. Bennett Williams returned an interception 68 yards for the final score.
Brown finished 10 of 21 for 206 yards and three touchdowns. Jaylon Redd had one catch for 63 yards and a touchdown.
The Oregon defense finished with five interceptions in the contest, giving the Ducks 13 takeaways, which ranks No. 1 in the nation.
The Ducks are just 1-3 against the spread. The only time they covered was in their only road game, an upset win over Ohio State.
Injury Report
The Ducks are anticipating even more playing time for defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux as he continues to recover from the ankle injury suffered in the season opener. Thibodeaux played some limited time against Arizona, and coach Mario Cristobal expects him to be at full strength.
Defensive lineman Bradyn Swinson missed the game against Arizona and will be sidelined this week as well.

Last Game
The Cardinal had their two-game winning streak snapped with a home loss to UCLA. Stanford was playing its first home game since November 2020, having started the season with three games on the road and finishing up the 2020 campaign with four straight away games.
The Bruins jumped out to a 21-7 halftime lead and the Cardinal could never make up the deficit. Quarterback Tanner McKee finished 19 of 32 for 293 yards and three touchdowns. He connected five times with Elijah Higgins for 103 yards and a touchdown.
The Cardinal couldn’t get much going on the ground, rushing 22 times for just 67 yards. The Bruins outgained Stanford 455-360, including 204 rushing yards.
The loss pushed Stanford to 2-2 against the spread, as their actual result on the field has matched their performance against the college football odds.
Injury Report
Stanford will again be missing some players in the defensive backfield, with Salim Turner-Muhammad and Jonathan McGill both expected to be out with undisclosed injuries.
Betting on the Game
Point Spread
Oregon has shown the ability to score, putting up at least 31 points in every game. The question is whether the Cardinal can find enough to keep up with the Ducks in this Pac-12 battle.
Stanford is averaging 28.5 points, but it’s also giving up 27.5 points. Going up against a Ducks defense that loves to create turnovers, McKee must not take chances with his throws or it could prove to be very costly.
The Cardinals are going to have to play a mistake-free game. Eight points seem like a small number for the No. 3 team in the country playing a .500 squad.
Moneyline
The moneyline isn’t too out of reach on either side of the bet. Oregon fans could make pretty good money and not have to worry about covering the point spread, while Stanford fans could really boost their bank if the Cardinal can come away with the outright win.
Over/Under
The Ducks have scored at least 31 points in every game this season, so just scoring their average, they’ll cover more than half of the total. The biggest question is whether the Cardinal can get some points against an Oregon defense that is allowing just 19.5 points per game.
Stanford should get a boost from being at home, though it wasn’t enough of an advantage against the Bruins last weekend. If you’re making your college football picks on this one, taking the under might be the safer bet.
Final Score: Oregon Ducks 38, Stanford Cardinal 17
