ACC Week 13 Props: Clemson RB Mafah Best Bet
ACC rivalry week is here, and we have a few matchups that headline those spots in the best prop bets of the week. Specifically, two games jump off the page, and we’re going to look at an intriguing betting option from the Louisville vs. Kentucky matchup, along with two spots to consider targeting in the NCAA football betting lines for the Clemson vs. South Carolina game.
Here’s a look at some NCAA football odds to consider!

Louisville’s Plummer to Have Strong Showing vs Kentucky
While Louisville has much bigger things on its horizon with a trip to the ACC Championship Game on tap, they first have a major rivalry game against the hated Kentucky Wildcats. While Louisville enters as the favorite here, it’s also a spot where we could see senior quarterback Jack Plummer build off his two latest performances with another big game before a date with Florida State.
In the past two victories, Plummer threw for 243 yards and two passing touchdowns against Virginia and 308 yards and three TDs against Miami. Now, he’ll face a Kentucky defense that’s allowed 238.2 yards per game through the air, and I think we see Plummer get a chance to do some damage in his final collegiate regular-season game.
In turn, I’m going to roll with Plummer to clear the over/under for passing touchdowns here, which he’s hit the past two games, and take the over on 1½ touchdown passes for the Cardinals signal-caller.
College Football Pick: Jack Plummer over 1½ touchdown pass (-127)
Clemson RB Phil Mafah Keeps Rolling Right Along
It’s been the Phil Mafah show for the Clemson Tigers over the past four weeks, and that’s paid off in a big way for a team that finds itself back in the Top 25 once again. While they’re set for a road matchup during “rivalry week” against South Carolina, this spot should bode well for Clemson’s new No. 1 running back in Mafah.
The junior running back has totaled 92 carries in the past four games while clearing 84 yards in every game and scoring five touchdowns. The Gamecocks won’t be an easy matchup on the ground, but Mafah has been rolling and they’ve still allowed 143.1 rushing yards per game this season. In turn, getting Mafah with a rushing total lower than any number he’s hit in the past four games is appealing. This could have the makings of one of the best college football bets in Week 13.
College Football Pick: Phil Mafah over 82½ rushing yards (+100)
Mafah’s Touchdown Tear Continues vs South Carolina
To continue the support of Mafah’s strong play, it’s hard to ignore a running back who’s scored five touchdowns in the past four games. He’s failed to find the end zone just once during that stretch, and this should bode well for his opportunity to find the end zone once again.
As previously mentioned, South Carolina isn’t terrible against the run, but ignoring Mafah’s recent stretch is tough to do. So being able to grab Mafah to score a touchdown at any point in this game is appealing, and we’ll do so with odds at -143, which feel like they’re lower than they should be.
College Football Pick: Phil Mafah anytime TD scorer (-143)
